Forum8v8 situation on uthgard last few days

As some know, the server rvr situation for fg vs fg fights took a turn for the worse lately, counterzerging or logging suck as options. So starting saturday and the day after that, when ba is out and the enemy mid zerg reports start pouring in, we will announce on irc that we are moving to odins and we encourage all other alb(rare/myth/random pugs), mid(dg,gesandte,random pugs), hib(mb/kenpatchi group/random pugs) who are interested in fg vs fg fights, to join us and NOT counterzerg. We will not hold grudge over anyone if they add us as long as they dont run sticked, and if they do not add us, we will repay the same courtesy.Ofc if the enemy mid zerg move to odin's(quite possible) we will announce that we are moving back to emain and vice versa.I do hope that other people interested in fgvsfg embrace this effort, so the server can get back to its normal zerging levels.

Zerging doesn't help RvR, because once one side forms a large zerg, the other side won't be able to match due to lack of population.
Once one side has a dominant zerg, the other realms will stop coming out. Once the other realms stop coming out, the zerg will log. Who is left at that point? No one, primetime RvR for that day is gone. And since there isn't enough population to support non primetime RvR, that's it for almost 24 hours. People can play how they want, but let's not pretend that zerg RvR is livening up the action on uthgard. |

(what's about the addaddadd video? We should change parts now? Ahahahah) Well I hope this will work guys, but please don't QQ if server will repay you with the same money you used for over 3 years.
This is not completely true. Maybe it can happen, but what i've seen some evenings ago is that when the mid zerg begin there is same sort of counterzerg, but when mids try to inc the relic both the opposite realms log in the same one to defend. Last time i partecipated to one of this relic raid we have to fight versus two realms. A lot of hibs and instantly no more albs in rvr zone... So, ironically, the lack of population is caused by x-realming itself. If this server begin to stop x-realming things can stay more balanced and maybe we can begin to play different way of rvr in the different 3 zones: zerg, 8vs8, solo/small group. I'm not saying you can't play different realms, just that you should stick to the one you are when things like zerg or rr begins.  |

People who ask for static zones don't understand the nature of dynamics. It's like asking a sine-curve to stay at zero, because it will return to zero periodically anyways  Solos attrackt other solos and smallmen, smallmen attract other smallmen and FGs, dominating SGs attract other SGs -> and zerg, eventually. So things shifting is a natural process, and part of the system. This is why there will be no dedicated 1v1 zone, 8v8 zone etc..... the very nature prevents it  |

If it would work out is another question. If there is a 1vs1 zone soon the duo's appear to farm the solos, if there is a 4vs4 zone soon the fgs appear, if there is a 8vs8 zone... and you can not forbid them to come in greater numbers. But i guess i don't have explain this to black adders, who destroyed og first as a solo and soon after as a small grp zone not long ago  |
