Hey, i'm bout to start up playing here and i've never play DAoC before like.. ever, but i've settled on Hibernia. So of course I have a few questions..

1) I want to main a nonstealth melee char, but I want one that is fairly easy to level and is good to great in end-game RvR. Is there such a Hib class?

2) I was reading on another forum (FoH) that some people were recommending you make a crafter/farmer char first to support your main char. I'm perfectly ok with this if it makes leveling my main char easier, especially since i've never played before and I know little to nothing about DAoC. Is this a good idea and if so what class would you recommend?

3) Any must-have tips for someone who has no clue what they are doing? I've poked around the forums and a bit and the majority of it made absolutely no sense to me.. as it seems everyone who plays here was already a daoc veteran before they ever came here and as such they just use lingo and acronyms I have no idea what any of it means.I'm not a mmorpg newb by any means, I started in 1997 with UO and i've played almost every major mmo since then.. just not this one. Any tips or 'must know' knowledge you can give me would be extremely helpful.

Tyia :)

1) Hero or Blademaster should be a solid choice.

2) Considering the amount of time it takes on uth to get a farmer/crafter on a decent level i would recommend not to do so.
Crafting and farming is the most annoying thing in this game and i doubt it's good to start with.
Better invest all time in your main toon than waste time with farmtoons. Especially on Uth i don't see any need to farm since templating your toon is so easy. I never farmed anything and got some toons rvr rdy.

3) Don't know a good newbie databse, but feel free to ask specific questions here or over PM
Fabienne - Blademaster
Junia - Bard
Audrina - Ench
-----
Zoe - Sorc
Stella - Pala
Devon - Scout

Yeah do a BM or Hero and dont waste ur money on crafting. Go to TNN forge and ask if someone could do an armor set first try without vest. Usually there are some who give it to u for free :)
