hi, currently i usally play eq some where else, but of that community, someone told me about this server here, and i never played daoc alot, though the norse sounds good to me so i posted here, hoping to get it installed and running tomarrow

usually i play a shaman, or warrior, how is the shaman on this game? and from what ive heard/read, this games close to eq as play style is, but pvp, and man do i love pvp

well, compared to eq (and all other mmorpg) the pvm in daoc suxx, it can be some fun in a grp (you will easily get as a shaman), but it's at least 90% grinding. But the pvp is still the best there is.

The normal shaman is a grp char, means every grp needs one. He buffs the grp, buffshears the enemys casts disease and roots. Its fun to play as long as you don't need killspam to have fun. He can't kill enemys alone.

Or you can skill him as a solo char (no grp will invite you then), but you are able to kill most enemys in 1v1. But 1v1 without adds are not very common in daoc ^^
