Wow really... why didnt i know about this free shard thing sooner? No ToA? OF? omg put me in coach!


Just got everything up and running and ready to play! I think im joining ALbion for my 3rd round of DAoC. I am looking for anyone player(s) or guilds welcoming new players who have some experience.

I first started playing DAoC as hib shortly before the inception of Nimue. I was one of the founding members of Retribution along side Jander and some others who steam rolled alb/hibs to the top of the RR within a months time on nimue. I played a ranger named JOvenith or Jovanith or something was 2nd ranked Ranger on nimue and Sold for good money returned to Midgard 3 years back and played a shaman and pac healer for Fenris. Toa came out and i /cryed and /quit.

Altho upon logging in i felt like a newb... i have lots of DAoC experience and looking for more in Albion.

Willing to play a class that may be needed by a guild...

I think you will find several guilds looking for players. It really depends on your available play times, class and style of play which one is the best fit for you. The best way I have found to look for a guild when starting up is write down the guild names of players I frequently end up grouping with while leveling up. At least when you apply to that guild you will know a few people and know they have players online around the same times you are!

With that said, myself and some friends are leveling up toons every Sat/Sun afternoon. We are currently all 16-18 and we have an open slot or two. You are welcome to join us in leveling if you can get to that level range by this Saturday. If not, then welcome back to DAOC and enjoy!!
