I'm pretty new to Uthgard but have played a little in the past. I always seem to come back to daoc. I'm not a big fan of Live but absolutely love the people here. Oh I've played most MMOs over the years and many are impressive in their detail and scope. However I always seem to miss daoc. Old graphics, dated interface and not the bells and whistles most games roll out now-a-days. But you know what, I don't care. It's like your first true love. You may date better looking peeps but none will equal your first.
Since I decided to join Hibernia I have met nothing but wonderful people. I'm still in the default starter guild and having a blast. So many great people making me laugh. You know who I'm talking about, Tawnii, Big, Lut and Dhylana to name just a few. It reminds me why I fell in love with daoc almost 10 years ago, community. I think back and some of the mind-numbing grinds I did back in the day. YEARS in Avalon City getting my first 50. It was about the people. Sorry, I'm rambling. Anyway I wanted to say HEY and if you see me out there, give me a wave. Always happy to group with anyone. I'll have some form of hawk in my name.
