I just watched this video of a bard on uthgard.

In minute 5:23 it looks like he can swap his instruments with just one macro from drums to flute to drums.
How can I do this, or did he qbind drums and clicks the flute? For me it looks like he can click one button to swap from flute to drum to flute.

You mean lute not flute?
Go to keyboard settings, there you can set keys to switch to 2handed slot or ranged.
It's on [.] and [b] by default.

I swap my instruments like you said but it looks like the guy in the video found a shortcut =)
E.g. If I run from ligen to emain 5 min pressing F1 (drum) F2 (endu chant) F3 (lute) F4(speed chant). But in this vid it looks like he found a shortcut like F1 (swapping lute / drum ) F2 (endu chant) F3 (speed chant).

Aye, looks like he´s just hitting that one! "lute button" and it automatically switches between lute and drum ... no clue how that works, too

was able some month ago but they fixed it. If you put a instrument from your backpack in you qbar and click on it, the item automaticly swiched into your hand nad switched the old instru into the position in your packpack.

Works if u use an older client, dont know wich one but defenetly 1.8X something.

Keyboard setting: Right hand, Two handed, Ranged weapon

Your Instruments can be in Ranged and Two handed, just set the keys you want on Ranged/Two handed and you can click them to switch your instruments. As he didn't use the flute as well this is perfectly possible with keyboard setting options.

It got changed, wasn't livelike.

I am playing minstrel and it is the easiest thing to switch between 2 instruments this way. I think the most people with instrument chars do this, just as I explained it. Every Warrior or Merc has the same shortcut for switching 1h/2h or dual/bow.
This is the switch between ranged and 2h instru.

Question wasnt about if it is possible to switch instrus and songs with 4 keys but with 3, so u r explenation is well known but wasnt the question

The question was if it is possible to switch the songs with a macro, but in the video you can just see clicking and not which keyboard keys he presses and I can say I am same fast with instrument and song switching without any macro. So in this case the simple explaination was: It was done by keys, not by clicking and it is possible to make it look that fast. I switch heal/pom/speed often after fights and the simple answer is: when the effect begins the song counts as performed and you can switch on the next one. So when he switches to the other instru/song the char is in the performing animation and then starts directly the next one. Songs effects are pretty much in the end of the animation but not directly at the end.
