Lol, fooled. 8O

Other than this, good news (shears are a bad decision though, you said you weren't gonna copy Mythic's mistakes, but this is a top example of when you are actually doing so!), sad face @ Old RAs, but ok, keep up the good work.

PS: So what about the BGs?

Yo Zarkor, I respect your opinions as an expert player, could you comment on my port layout in the post before yours while your on? Just so it don't get buried at the bottom of page 3 and no one sees it?

Buff limitation would be 2 buffs total. So either 2 charges or 2 barrels or 1 of each.

Probably a stupid question, but would an ablative charge/pot count as a buff?

Good question.

IMO everything should count, because there isn't a clear way to draw the line otherwise.

That includes Ablative, AF, Damage Shield, PoM, HoT and whatever else exists that lasts 10 minutes and you can activate when you want. If only stat buffs/pots coun't then you're indeed making it easy for certain classes.

Another valid question is: What about procs? Will they count in the limit, and how if so?

That means DA charge (30secs), endu regen(2 min) too? Well, I'm not sure if this would work ^^

To caunt 10:00+ min as buff would be a good limitation.

This will just be a huge assasin nerf, sure its the same for all but fights will be bloody boring without buffs and selfbuff classes like rangers will be sick.

I would still prefer the other solution to make buffs more avalible for more ppl even casual ones. Or leave it as it is, the only complaints i hear about this topic is cost and low timer on duration. Not many ppl want em removed.

This is not a step to balance RvR, its the opposite, the differance between having a buffer in group now will be huge and running small man/solo will be even harder. Attacking anything with buffs when urself only have 2 pott buffs will be suicide.

And i still havnt heard a good argument against pots except the none bb argument wich isnt a valid argument as pots isnt close to beeing the same as a bb.

Seriosly, WHO cares about assassins? They do alot dmg, even without buffs. (viper, disease, etc).

What charges/pots does a Ranger typically have?

str/con, haste, anything else?

Many do care and probably many will quit as they build there characters around pots like haste and some charges. Face it, fighting without some basic buffs is boring and feels like pveing on lvl10 again. The only solid tactic assains can do with these changes is Viper3 lifebane and kite with snare, wich is kina lame and u get tired of it fast.

This is two steps back, 1) for making the gamespeed slower and 2) for making custom changes thats not close to beeing livelike.

Once again GM´s show that soloer/smallmen means nothing to them and the only thing importent is 8vs8 / zerging.

i run with str/con, base dex and base con barrels, besides this a 17% haste charge.

With just 2 buffs i will stick to str/con and haste so i will loose almost nothing.

I feel sorri for all assains that will be free rps for me with these changes, even with viper3 they have to be glad to have me at 50% when they die. I guess an assasin will have to go for haste and dex/qui so they loose AF, 30 str/con and what bases they carried around. Might be worth reworking template without haste so u can have str/con and dex/qui, in that case u just loose bases as an assasin. I hope AF wont count as a buff so atleast they can have that extra.
