Rangers won't be anymore OP then they already are, and some will maybe even be weaker since now they'll have to actually SPEC their buffline for buffs, as opposed to getting everything from pots.

The cap increase pot is a terrible idea.

Yes sure, only stop spec points in bow, and start spec them in buff line.

Will be implemented as they were in 1.69 when we revert to this patchsetting. No custom solutions will be made. Until then do not expect a bugfix regarding this issue. Yes, this means damage components on shears too. If any player has a good source of the damage output on shears, please support us with this information.

This is so dumb. I hope one of the new GMs has played a druid in rvr before and can talk them out of it.

Unlike now, when you can have both.

If you don't see any change then nothing is worse either, is it? Except for every other class out there that won't have go around with 4+ buffs all the time. Not to mention that most Rangers still specced a bit into Bow, just in case.

The last Strength buff is at 50 Pathfinding. Can't wait to see how many actually spec it.

Its not a joke! My group used the medallion and we were teleported to the DF prison. There we were forced to fight our own group-mates to the death for Blue's amusement while Trishin floated above us, baying for blood. D:

Don't use the medallion!

we stay to tajendi and relook legion, great

a new developer wonderfull, so there is a small chance to get necro ^^

i think only 2 charges is the april joke, ranger is alrdy the most owp played char in hib xd : http://www.uthwar.x10.mx/UthGLWRP.php

i think a better idea to fix the balancing problem is to set the charges back to there old life like value?

there is a chance that old ra not working and we fall back, many chars like scald, reaver, scout, ranger smile about that ^^

i also think if we enable all nf features we can go back to there, nf also work with old ra 1.69 and its finished, so we dont get new bugs, blue alrdy sad we cant implemented the nice nf keeps to of ;(

some points wasnt talking about: gm merchant with f.e. leg weapons, xp/grp changes (behavior of xp starting stuck at lvl 40) , camp bonus, relook at chars that nobody plays (bugs/values), statement to acc trades, xp bonus near own realm keeps

thx for the news anyway

First let me say I think these changes are definatly headed in the right direction. Although I have to agree with many other posters who think the new alc potions are a bit over the top. To fix this maybe lower this bonus to +10 stat overcap and have it fill in the points so you don't have to retemplate and also so groups don't reject players because of not having the potion. More of a little boost to those that put in the money for em. also allow it to stack with the 2 other potion buffs, making 3 total from pots.

Was kinda bored today but this news got me all excited as im sure it did many others.

To be helpful I thought I would take a shot at this, and feel free to leave feedback about it ppl.

"A support line system like seen in NF will be worked on too, so it will be possible to port to keeps directly. The full details of this is still in the work. So feel free to share your thoughts of how this could work out best."

Now I only did this for mid frontier but the same idea/concept can be used for all 3 realms as the rvr maps are basically the same for all.

How ports open:
0-1 keeps conrolled by mid= no port in your realm.
2-3 keeps controlled by mid= port to arvakr/fensalr
4 keeps controlled by mid= port to blendrake/hlidskialf
5 keeps controlled by mid= port to nottmoor
7 keeps controlled by mid= port to bledmeer

For note the relic keeps are not counted in these numbers and are not considered normal keeps.

Also albs/hibs controlling 4 or more keeps in mid would open port to nottmoor and vice versa for albs/hibs.
I orignally had this as 3-4 keeps but after reflection 4 would be superior in my opinion to keep 2 realms from ganging up on one realm keeping (by having simultanious port to enemy realm) to keep it more fair. The port mainly would be used to setup relic raids.

This system would help hibs tremendously that don't like getting jumped on horse because when they control all thier keeps they can port stratight to crauchon and get right in on the action with albs/mids without worrying about having to horse all the way out there.

All are welcoem to suggest modifications to this, just my first go at it :)
Once again a huge ty to the staff for giving us so much to look forward to as I would really rather be in the frontiers then having tons of alts backed up in thid hehe. Keep up the good work guys!
