Forumgame.dll error

Afternoon All,
I have an issue with starting daoc from the portal. Here's the situation. On my main PC I have daoc loaded and have played often in the not to distant past. I recently decided to start playing again. I can never seem to leave daoc forever but not a fan of Live. I really like the people I met here but I digress. Once I launched the game from the Portal I receive a long error code related to the game.dll. I am assuming this is due to the fact the game patched up to the newer 1.108. I've done this in the past but there was always the "rollback" to save my arse. However there isn't a v1.108 to v1.105(or working) patch yet or if ever. I can confirm this issue as well. I loaded a fresh install on a different PC with the same error. I then dusted off a laptop, yes I have too many machines, that has an older version and it works well. I haven't tried but I might take that older/working game.dll and overwrite one of the non-working ones just to see. Any ideas? Thanks, Bick...
