It is enough if there is one high rr guild group out, they ll farm all the PuGs one by one. And at prime time there is always at least one high rr guild group out. So as a PuG u can add, u can stick what ever pretends u from being farmed. Since the ones who would log out otherwise are those PuGs. As a result they farm the high rr guild grps which either log out or do the same. Thats the way emain works, and how it always worked. Otherwise u r free to go to HW/Odins realising that ur big 8v8 community is just 2-3fg which try to dictate the majority of players how to play :gaga:

Every 8man group in emain be it a setgroup, guildgroup, alliance group, friends, pick up group or whatever else you can think of is a part of the 8v8 community. They make a group of 8 players to fight other groups of 8 players, durr. Very few will make a full group to roam around killing soloers, adding 1v1 fights, exploring the landscape and whatnot...

I remember when i started my Anathema of Heimdall guild.
We were 4-5L (Lauranna, Me, Elnz, Matyxx) but maneged to stay in inc with rare/kt/mb for several minutes and beat other pugs to rank up.
Then: i am crazy/visionary or the ppl here that just came rvr aren't that good and don't show any kind of organization?
Do they QQ about rank (and then zerg for it) or i QQ cause i can't play like i would for zerg/adds blabla?
It's natural that if the hibs got zerged twice/three times from noobmids come back in zerg.
And who is gonna killed by zerg? my grp :) that played fairplay all the night passing around the incs waiting for a winner.

And that's soooooo boring

I got the solution ilcensore..Dont use road avoid amg and you wont gonna get zerged or you wont gonna zerg...Ppl must start using new rvr road Hibs should try 2 go Bolg from DL rebuff there then go from left zone wall to emain-leviathan hill (just up from silo) DCxroads-mmg-mpk then try mmg-again left TOP zone wall from mmg to amg then silo...Same for mids mmg-dcxroads-leviathan hill-breifine-bolg-gorge..If you go amg prime time or at least near silo YOU WANT TO ZERG OR YOU WANT BE ZERGED..Thats what ppl were doing back in live servers when there was at least 4-5 fgs of albs camping amg and atleast 10stealthers.Btw ppl say DO NOT ADD only when they win if they lose they want you to add even if they will never admit that cuz of the ego..Im pretty happy tbh that there is zerg in emain at least that reminds me old good live server times.cheers

By logging out. One hole in a wall to get out to what is supposed to be the area where fun is to be had is ridiculous, mythic figured that out, we've seen it here, now lets get rid of the ghastly concept.

Pls tell me when you ever encountered amg beeing blocked for more than 5 min?
We are far away from live status with amg beeing camped by a zerg calm down.
And as it was said before if you don't wanna get zerged don't run as dumb as most of the grps do everyday. My setgrp never ran inside crim valley, rather on the hill side :gaga:

Edit: didnt mean any special person so I chanced the dumb part =)

not so much blocked, as in a zerg standing in front of the hole in the wall, more blocked as in there's stealthers everywhere around it, try to cross that as a solo visible / (casual) smallman / xpers, try to encounter a likeminded 8man in that spot. I'm perfectly calm thanks. As for the rest of your rant, you have no idea where i run 'everyday', i hope your 'setgroup' has a blast.

ps: hillsides can be an advantage/disadvantage depending on the setup and numbers of the people you encounter.

I am simply offering a solution to the problem. 8vs8 is a mentality, and not a written rule. If you find that running around in the most populated RvR zone gets you added by players that do not share you 'honor code' (or whatever you want to call it), then the only consequence is to move to a different zone (since you are the one trying to enforce an unwritten rule). If other groups share your mindset, then there should be no problem. But here is the kicker. As low RR group, you have little chance vs. the established high RR groups (assuming about equal skill and all). So as a new SG, you need the adding, noobish PUGs to get to a decent RR - and those you will not find in an 8vs8 zone, because they would be foolish to go there. So you end up going where the easy RPs are and keep complaining about getting added.[/quote]

Couldnt have said it better myself. You are the ones that want 8 vs 8 and yet you keep coming to a zone where you know there is going to be lots of people playing different styles (8v8, zerg, adders..). You do this because you want action, but when you do that you have to live with the consequences. Its like stealthers complaining about the amt of other stealthers at amg. Its where the action is. Which is why the person who is complaining is probably there too. I agree, if you want 8 Vs 8 battles then go outside emain.

I appreciate and understand the 8 vs 8 ideology, but not everyone has that mentality. Also, as the quoted person said, at low RR you really dont have alot of options besides trying to win with numbers. Eight RR 4L2-5L0's will lose every time to Eight 6L0-10L0's, and then throw in the fact that those high RR players have probably played together many times and know the styles to complement each other.

8v8 crowd can't tell anyone how to play the game but everyone can tell the 8v8 crowd how to play. Double standards ftw.
