Anti-Battleground?

That doesn't make my argument any less true, levels matter far less than you claim them to.
No, you really don't want to get it do you. By making endRvR the only option for RvR beyond level 45, players will have the CHOICE what to do. For those who prefer to RvR while XPing, XP rewards per RvR kill will be increased, so that they can do so viably combined with the increased action, the fact that endgame will be the only RvR option garantees a critical amount of groupable allies and killable enemies. For those who rather optimise their own character before RvRing, there's an option to XP in the frontiers or to be really safe in the mainland. The good part here is that by allowing the players who can not compete at level 45 to gain an additional 5 levels over the lowest (in theory) enemy RvR players, which eliminates the "omg everyone is stronger than me, I won't get more than 2 killsteals within the next hour" kind of thinking which is currently making these players log out or even quit endgame RvR. You really are doing players who are intersted in endRvR a favor. If they are NOT interest in endRvR, they can keep rerolling BG toons, in fact they can do so a lot more easily than before and nobody will stop them. It is moronic to keep the transition to endRvR as horrible as it is now just because the players who do not even care about endRvR (or those who think it can not be fixed whatsoever) would stop being able to play in a BG at a certain levelrange and can't seem to stop whining about it. ![]()
We are winning: - increased endRVR activity, establishing the currently inexistant smallman/casual RvR that is badly needed. - improving the endgame RvR transition experience for players who leave the last BG. - making endgame RvR in general more attractive. We are losing: - Being able to play in a BG setting at levels 45-49. There's no real argument to keep the last BG if this is what you get for it, which means the only thing that's left to do for those still so vividly against is plain complaining that it's going to be the worst thing ever, which is complete bullsh.t. Case closed imo. In defense of truth-to-experience.

If you aren't able to get those things without removing Battlegrounds, then you won't get them even with the removal. It's as simple as that.
On the other hand, if you do get them without the removal, then the EVIL BG POPULATION will have no need to cling to the Battleground system since the new healthy RvR system will be the greatest thing ever, or will at least be able to compete with something that actually requires you to (and do me a favor and read this very slowly) level, equip and finance a new character every few weeks and then be forced to give it up at only 4L2.. Then the BG question can be raised again if the need presents itself. Which it shouldn't. Problem solved. |

You hit the nail on the head open field RVR meaning realm against realm not lets 1v1 2v2 etc etc , when you go into the realm it's war, If you want 1v1, 2v2, 8v8 then this is the wrong game for it and is not set up for it. |
|
There are 3 reasons for adding on people who do not want to be added:
1. You are a roleplayer, and you are fighting for your realm (~10% of the adders) 2. You want rps, a lot of rps. But you are horrible at this game (~70% of the adders) 3. You are a griefer, and you do it to ruin other peoples fun (~20% of the adders) So if you add on people it's because of one of these 3 reasons. Deal with it and stop making up excuses. inb4 "ADDING IS NOT AGAINST THE RULES DERP!" I did not say it's against the rules.

If DAoC was about roleplaying some epic struggle between three realms than it would be totally ok for someone to insult you after you added his fight. He just roleplayed an honorable character. So if roleplaying is your lame adding excuse don't cry about being insulted.

4. They add since it is part of the game and makes daoc an unique game where u never know what happens. ca. 100%
Jarysa insult adders and get banned ![]() 5. if you rage about add, play a fair competitive game and be a happier person with out all this rage potential in u ![]() Last edited by pweet on Mar 23, 2011 00:39, edited 2 times in total.

nope.jpg That's actually number two covered up with a made up excuse. edit: what you just edited in doesn't make any sense.

What makes the game unique is 3 sides, not the option of unsportsmanship (which isn't unique whatsoever).

Why do u need 3 sides if u dont add each others fights anyway. It is just like 2 for u anyway ![]() |
|
I said nothing about honor. Also, your #4 goes under #2. It's covered up with a made up excuse of course.
Actually, in it's category, no there isn't.

If it is still the best game for u even with add, it cant be that big of a deal. Anyway u cant do anything about it except feeling better by flameing ppl who dont stick to ur play style.
|
|
I didn't say I flame people when they add me, did I? I simply categorized the reasons for adding and disproved any of your attempts to create false reasons. You two should really learn to READ the posts you are answering to, I'm getting tired of writing "I didn't say that".
