Greetings,
I play daoc, normally, on my laptop at home.
Now I would like to install it even on my office's pc.
How can I have the same game configurations (quickbars, keyboard, options, and so on) on my second pc?
Are there any files I can copy/past on my office's computer ?

tnx in advance

It's quite complicated in daoc since its a old game =)
If you run vista you should go to your "\personal_folder\appdata\electronicarts\daoc\" ish
Here you should either find your screenshots which tells you I was wrong or *.ini files :)

Now you search for your character name and copy the two *.ini files on your USB stick or whatever and paste it in the same folder on your 2. computer.
Start Daoc and you should have the same quickbars, but I'm not sure if it works for qbinds as well.

If the folder is wrong I can check it later, when I'm back from lab.

Yes I found them :)
With Vista, the only path change is the folder "Roaming" under "appdata" :D

Monday I will check if it works too ;)

tnx a lot mate!

Heho,

Yes, it works for qbinds, too.
So if you have standard keys you use and want to keep them on other chars you can make it like that:

Code: Select all

Copy form Char1 to Char2.

Char2-14.ini -> delete
Char2-15.ini -> delete

Char1-11.ini -> copy -> rename to Char2-14.ini
Char1-12.ini -> copy -> rename to Char2-15.ini

The positions of the qbars, bars, chat and some other thing will be the same and the qbinds will be the same.
