Teleporter improvement

Hello, I would like to propose little improvement for teleporter into RvR zones. Everybody hates when they came to porter just to see porters leaving their pad.
My idea is that the porters would stay on the pad, but instead of porting in regular intervals, they would port only after being promted (with let's say one minute cast time, so that single person can't ninja the port) and trigering the regular cooldown after that.
Basically in primetime the ports would occur with same frequency because of the cooldown, but in times when there aren't many people online it would help them getting back faster, because there is less chance of someone porting and thus triggering the cooldown.

Solution: play hib. There you don´t need the telepad that much and you can´t just afk and wait for anything, because on the way to emain there always can be inc.

OT: The whole forced to wait idea is stupid anyway, there's already resurrection sickness for that.

Of course its stupid, but its part of the game and honestly, daoc wouldn't be the same game without forced downtime/cooldown.
I like it and I wouldn't even mind longer port intervalls.

I am aware that the port won't be removed because... well I don't know why. But at least like this Portmaster wouldn't seem like such a troll for porting empty pad 10 second before people arrive.

We do have to port to Druim Cain sometimes thanks to the lame horse route campers but that's about it.

Its easy to get, make an official DAoC account and login there. They will be happy to give you every Channeler you need.

Try hard mode on hib for a change and u will love the afk wait on pad!! U dont realise how good u have it.

But i like to change ur idea and make it beeing able to teleport everywhere except frontiers with a click on glasny/visur/whatever. This way u can travel faster to ur main city, hosuing or second frontier keep without the boring wait. This will be a way to counter the horse route abusers to as u can choose 2 ways to go to emain. But insta port in any way to frontiers will never happen on this server.

I do understand the developers decision to leave the porting intervals to other frontier zones. But also I would appreciate if I could insta port from DL to my house or TNN.
If this isn't possible, would it be possible to implement some kind of ingame timer that would announce the next port or a command line that would allow players to check, when the next port is going to happen? There are enough time sinks in the game already but sometimes it is really annoying if you port from TNN to DL and see you just missed the port, when you could have continued crafting for another 5 minutes instead.
Please think about this, I don't think it would cause any negative impact on an RVR or PVE related content.

if you want to know when is next visur someone have too write a pc/handy ap or expand the uth irc bots may be

or easyer make a timer at herald in the webseite

I dont want channelers and after a long time NF and the crap mino laby with ports agora, port x and looking for rps, port back and repeat i love the current uthgard porter system with old fz. Thx staff for that.
