IS it viable for a minstrel who will be soloing or grouping to even bother trying to auto level instruments?

I dont see a Minstrel doing to well with just melee personally...

Also, are there any "harps" on Uthgard for minstrels...instruments that can play all songs without having to swap to different instruments?

just curious as i dont know which items are here and which are not

Autotraining a minstrel...

Well you could get a better spec when autotraining, but it would be really frustrating if you did.
If you still insist on autotraining, get a usefull char to lvl 50 first, cleric would be rather perfect because you will be able to find groups with ease, and you wont have many problems finding farmgroups at lvl 50 for a decent template. When you will get enough gold and maybe an armorcrafter on your cleric, you could aswell start thinking about autotraining such a hard class as minstrel.

Minstrels are almost perfect for solo action since they have speed and stealth, the two most crucial things you need to solo around but you really need some skill playing this class, a decent spec and good equipment to actually defeat other opponents than expier.

The decent spec part varies from player to player. Almost everyone agrees on minstrel beeing highlander, but then the specs start varying a lot... Most do agree on 50 instruments and on the need to spec high weapon, but if you want to solo around, you will be needing stealth and instrus(charming).

BtW, no harps available, get used to switching instruments.

Is Uthgard server running before Leviathan nerf?

ie. Slam Levi Levi Levi ?

If so Reaver would be fun

Also, im trying to find more information on the "OLD RA" that might be coming back to make my decision based on that also.

Anyone know where i can find this list

There should be several OLD RAs link in this forum, i am too lazy searching myself...
Levi nerf?
Well there was a levi nerf indeed, but that didnt really decrease the levi efficiency, and neither is levi nerfed now.
Lets say, vs a decent opponent a reaver hits 60-100 melee and about 200 proc. Which means that if you manage to land 5 hits on your opponent from behind, you will kill almost every unbuffed enemy. In addition to incredible defense a reaver is a good 1vs1 class, but since it does lack speed and stealth, you probably would not like to run around frontiers solo.

I would still keep in mind the minstrel as a viable solo class, and ive go several 50s on uth aswell as several mil. rps.

Damage varies on uthgard ever since the aurora borealis fix. Same goes for vw styles too. Not livelike, not even mentioned as a concern by any dev. They just kinda broke it and ignored it ever since.

ya, this, its how I leveled up my minstrel. Although I found it was actually a little quicker to duo down reds with another tank.
