Well, if I'm really honest I would say, just stop playing on the server then.
People who don't want to participate in endgame worsen the playing experience on the server for other players. Why? 1.) They create bg toons with full sc to "own" the fresh noobs who join bg to lvl up and gain some rps. This is pretty frustrating for players without the perfect equip etc. 2.) During the time a player is roaming a bg with his toon, although he has serveral lvl 50 chars, that is one player less in endgame RvR. You say if there is no action in emain, you wanna log to your BG chars. But imagine if everyone with a bg toon would just stay in emain and try to solo/small man instead. There would always be action... |

Sounds good until you consider the fact that once you get added on and die it takes you up to 8 minutes to get back in emain. I don't have to imagine all the waiting and running, I experience it every day. Not so much fun really and it gets more and more dull every time The Bird of the Hermes is my name

No, its just not the designed goal of the server to stay in BG's forever. And it will not be supported in any way. BG's were on live to exercise RvR and it was not the main content. /rp off is indiscussable. If all players demand Uthgard i50, it will not come too. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

And how has that been working out so far ? The 3000 (THREE THOUSAND!) 4L1-4L4 characters tell me it's not working out so well. Fyi there are more 4L1-4L4 than there are rr5+ characters on uthgard (I used 4L4 as a reference because not everybody quits right after thidranki but very soon after trying out frontiers). Looks like majority of the playerbase doesn't care about the server goal, actually they dislike it so much they'd rather exp chars over and over again just to play in battlegrounds. Personally I'd love seeing more people in emain but it's not gonna happen as long as there's pointless "CLASSIC FUN" time-sinks. People play for fun and sitting around waiting for port or running several minutes to arrive to a rvr active zone is not fun. The Bird of the Hermes is my name

i totally agree with u gink
 its real 100% of my thoughts but i have a individual question for you; why u flame most of ur enemies/own realm and make them bad? do you think they come back afterwards ? people like u are contumelious and only running in guild full group or what ever crossrealming chars u got. u sitting in a 8vs8 channel for maybe 2 groups a evening that thinks they're awesome ? maybe the problem are just simply the level50 chars themself .. best example .. u think hibernia sucks..(ofc it does) ok lets move to albion ....... lets move all to midgard for the easy realm .. and do more pvm that would be great  tbh i forgot u're from a pro server sorry and people are just to lazy ....... imbalance 4tw |

I 100% agree with Disdain's post here, nice proof btw to show how much people dislike endgame RvR on Uthgard actually (even though the proof is in the Frontiers population everyday). Though to solve this obvious problem I strongly disagree to implement a /rp off command that would just make Uthgard to a 100% BG Server. "Real" RvR would die completely within a few weeks. Specially in the current Situation where the RvR population is low enough already. People should be willing to use the full potential of their chars and enjoy a bigger, more interesting and more populated Zone as they would find in a Battleground, so the only change to be done here is the active improvement on the Old Frontiers and the RvR-System (Instaport, shorter runways (maybe xp spots), more interesting Keepfights, bonuses etc.) |

Okay, with /rp off, everyone goes to BGs and there is one giant mess in each BG at any one point, and the whole point of the game of making your characters better goes out the window? I'm fairly new to this game, so maybe its my "noob innocence", but I think it's fun to get a character as awesome as it can be. But you folks don't want that? Why even play this game (or server at least) at all? The entire game would be just regulars in the BGs, no reason to pve, no reason to raid, no reason to do anything except BGs. Also, this game is time consuming, why does everyone cry and moan about having to wait a whole 8 minutes to get back to emain? This game is a social game... is it that hard for you all to chat it up, strategize of how not to die the next time, or just do random things for fun? Hell it takes even a few minutes to load a battle in CoD or Gears of War or other games like that... If you ask me, some people here seem to have lost sight of why they play this game.
