didn't find any Question like this, so:
Why can't horses be used in BGs? At least in Thid it should be allowed, as players should be "grown up" to use them. In Braemar it would be unfair towards players with their "first" char (and thus not having enough gold to buy one so early). Besides iirc the horses have a level restriction anyway, so that's not the point. I bought a war horse for my caba and now I can't use it in Thid, which is pretty annoying - Why? Thanks, Jezzmin |

From what I have understood you have to be rr5 to use a horse in rvr at all...or maybe it was rr10? Clarification on player horses is appriciated

my 4L3 arms uses her horse in rvr all the time  ...and when trying to use the horse in thid it says "cannot use in this location", so I guess thid has some "no horse" flag set or whatever  |

any official statement whether this is intended for whatever reason (balancing, etc.) or a bug? I'd love to know that before my paly get's to enter the BGs

you won't get off without an answer on this one...shouldn't be so complicated to answer...
if there's no decision yet: say so and maybe say en ETA for when a decision is to be expected if it's intended: say so if it's a bug: say so but at least say something |

The 250g horse is PvE zones only
The 975g Warhorse is Pve+RvR The level 45 quest horse is greater speed and PvE only The RR5 quested horse is greater speed and PvE+RvR The RR10 horse I dunno. I ain't never been RR10 |

The RvR horses are intended to lower distances in large open battlefield. BG's are small. You also cannot use horses in DF even its a RvR zone.

You can't use it in any dungeon, so it's just logical not to use it in df |
