So 4 months or so I had severe lag/latency for a week or so but it cleared up on its own. I rarely went LD. I used to get the odd spike like pretty much we all do at times, but it was not a big deal.

But now, for the past 10+ days, the game is basically unplayable and certainly 100% not much fun

I cannot go more than 2 minutes without SEVERE latency and average 4+ LD's within hours and sometimes will get back to back LD's upon relogging into the game. PVE is barely tolerable (moving while LD can mean death or aggro for the group) and RvR I just won't take part in.. not fair to the group.

There are a few other threads regarding this, but I'm pretty bummed out not being to enjoy the game. I know of no solution or anything I can do on my end to end or alleviate this. I have rebooted my PC many times, turned off pretty much anything that may cause an issue (never had to do this before), have reset my router (wirless) numerous times and have created a new network to no avail. My destop PC, PS3 and phone (wi-fi) are all solid and I have no issues with them ever.

Anyone out there have any idea what can be done if anything?

Actually I have noticed more LDs lately but I always blame my connection.
Seems fast once my conection gets back to the ground.

past week and half i've had very bad latency myself sometimes resulting in a ld. i can not stick anyone in rvr or i'll lag warp or lose stick cuz i'm lagging and have to ask to loop often if this keeps up i wouldn't want to invite me to a group knowing i'm gona lag all time lol.

Ok I did tracert before I tried to log onto server, I have played with a tracert result like above but, today I can't stay logged in longer then 1 to 2 min.
Unlike a normal ld I can log back right away I am not getting "your account is being logged out please try later" or "you account is already logged in" messages. I normally get one of these messages when I try to log back but not today is the server dropping me because of low ping?
I am not loosing connection to other free shards or Vent.

sometimes it helps to disable windows firewall well it did some years back to me when i was on a random server

Because it depends on:

1. your provider
2. your location in the world

My lag has also been horrible for the past few weeks. I've tried everything on my end, and Uthgard is the only thing that gives me any lag at all. Not many LD's, but constant severe delays. Definitely disappointing.
