Couple things I've noticed (in Thidranki)

1. Often right clicking on the keep doors does not allow access. Is this a known bug? I remember back in the day you could /say Enter Exit and get in. That does not appear to work either.

2. Pet Dmg: I apologize for being ambiguous but it "seems" melee pet dmg is kinda high. I've repeated been beat on by cabalist pets and earth lords for really high dmg/hit w/out procs. Anyone else noticed this? These pets seems to hit harder than level 49 melee players I've come up against.
Never played a hib in the old school live servers so maybe this is normal and I'm just not used to it.

You are the first to say its too high Earth elementals are melee pets and have slow swing timer. So their frontload damage is high. Also they have some damage bonus but this is live like implemented and based on several tests.

for enter/exit i remember that on old frontiers had one gatekeeper outside the gate and one inside the gate, saying enter got you teleported in while in combat ei someone attacking you or same with exit. always kept my /macro exit /s exit enter ready at all times.

Realm v. Realm - Frontier Keeps:

Players can now speak a keyword as well as interact with gatekeepers at the frontier and relic keeps in order to enter and exit. Note that the keywords are now "Enter" or "Exit" as appropriate.

You can't enter a keep if you are in (active-)combat, so don't attack anyone and hope offensive procs on your armor won't proc.

all my characters don't have offensive proc's on the armor and often getting into a keep while being attacked just won't happen and i've done nothing offensive just sprinting.


here is an example of the spam from door you get when all your doing is right clicking to get in and your not doing anything offensive

And yet the enemy seems to always get in when they've attacked me and I suffer the same problem (No offensive measures, yet, I can't get in)

As there is no message about being in combat, I guess its some other bug and has nothing to do with in combat flag.

Unfortunately can't fix it if its not reproducable.

ok here is my chat log of my shaman jalorie in thidranki attempting to enter the inner ck door of thidranki that is owned my midgard and currently under siege by hibernia. My armor is full ablative shield has a af charge on it only. i had not cave buffs on me and i did nothing offensive only actions i took were sprinting and right clicking the door. i did not swing a weapon or cast any spells as i was under atack and couldn't i don't have pbaoe desiese yet current spec is 46 aug 17 subteraninan, 7 mend

if you see my actions i was in water when i began sprinting and entered thid with no actions done and ran into thidranki targeted the door and became under attack by 2fg hibs lol

i hope this is helpfu don't know any other way to reproduce it.

the log would have shown a offensive attack or a damage shield or a casting of a spell which i did none of as chat log shows.

I took a closer and in-depth look at my chat logs and discovered something. Which will mean more tests.

The thidranki chat log my shaman was passive the entire time and got attacked when at the ck inner door, and i was unable to enter the ck door i got the in combat flag and the notorious wait one second to interact.

The braemer chat log my hunter was passive he entire time and got attacked when i un-stealthed at the ck outer door, and while i was under attack the keep was under siege as someone kept hitting the door while i was trying to enter. i never got the combat flag bout being in combat, I tried entering but kept getting the wait one second to interact, but i did get through eventually . i exited and wasn't able to reenter again i got the must wait one second warning and died trying to renter.

But in the Thidranki chat log no one was siegeing the ck doors just a pet at the time they were attacking only me when i tried to enter. not sure if this makes a difference but warrants further test which might be tricky to do as it be situational and done by trial and error. but i will try.

braemer be easier to do this i think.

well i was unsucessful in thidranki this evening on my shaman to duplicate the bug but here is what did happen i got logs if anyone wants me to post them.

I tried going though doors while under melee attack buffed with shield and hammer equipped

under melee attack unbuffed with shield and hammers

under melee attack without shield and hammers and no buffs

under melee attack tried entering while sprinting with buffs and hammer equipped

under melee atack went in after a block

under melee attack went in after a ablative proc

able to enter while under magic attack (pbaoe and lifetap) with full buffs and weapons equipped

was able to go in and out of door with pet (Cabbie) on me.

should be noted my armor is full ablative, my shield only has af charge on it and my hammer (not drawn) has lifetap charge

when i say buffed i mean speed of realm, endurance,dex/qui, str/con, con, dex,af, matter, heat, cold resists NO damage shield


hopefully can find more situations over time such as animist pets, or pet meleeing door with me under attack and others sinerios.
