You better lookup for random generator topics in this forum before making such claims. Everytime this topic pops up in the forums I get sick. Should I make a sticky post about our random generator? I think it would be the best to avoid such topics at all...


You should give a better explanation then why u see 5 mps in a row with a 2% chanse on each or 3 fumbles in a row with a 1% chanse on each. You never did/do see this on live. If this isnt random generator problems then tell us what instead of pointing to old topics. Because something is wrong.

And the claim comes from that it isnt easy to do total random with code bcs there isnt something that is totaly random just looks like it. So many rg has some flaws and when i see behavior like this on uthgard ofc i come with the conclussion that the rg got some issues.

But good that u are here to enlighten us now :P

I have to see yet an unaltered screenshot with 5 MP's in a row but even that is worth nothing as in the nature of randomness everything is possible if you just try hard and long enough. Given the amount of players and playtime such things can happen at any time, same like winning a jackpot in a casino.

If you would try to show me that in front of my eyes you would have no chance as it was shown several times in spell resist cases.

Please turn spell resist % on again.. It was very interesting to see those numbers imo :)

Spell resist chances are ok, I just cant put my finger on those ressist streaks that I witness daily in rvr... :roll:

In the SS i posted i get 1 fumble followed by a hit then 2 fumbles in a row, thats 0.01*0.99*0.01*0.01 wich is about 1 in 9999. Ok i will buy this if it happens once in a xp period, but i have fumbles like this about 2-3 times every 2-3 hours of xping. The odds will not cover this. I say its the fumble rate thats wrong (even u have stated its a fixed value of 1%) or some other bugg.
I find it weird that ppl has notice this streak of random in several stuff ex. fumbles, resists, mps when crafting.
I can just logg in to live and do the same thing i did on uthgard on everything is normal.

It will not harm to check over why this concure here on not on live. ANd anyways u have to fix the fumble/miss rate in melee anyway as its not livelive, lol i even fumble a PA a time. The caster must have laughing his ass to death while nuking me to oblivion. :roll:

Just got 5 high lvl spells with MoF1 resisted in a row at rr6l7 vs rr4.. any point in posting screenshot or do we have enough evidence already?

If this is true, and someone did craft 5 mps in a row, which has a 0.00000032% chance, there is something wrong. I would love to do some tests, though casting at a dummy isn't the same, you would need to code some proper enemy realm test dummy (make a character, set health/health regen to something ridiculous and make it so he cant move, and put him outside main cities). Do this, let people do their own tests to prove themselves.

(something strange happened the other day though, someone did /random 1000 after the event, and got 907. He did /random 1000 straight after, and got 907 again)

I really don't think there could be anything wrong with a RNG, but there could be a deeper issue.

I can confirm this, I was also at that Christmas event where it happened.. I assume thats what you are talking about?
