As he is fullbuff and he probably play with TOA bonus i would say no never, but you can already make hard hit ^^

Here you can fullbuf a scout( we usually group someone ) and never will do this kind of damage, with no crits, or even close. |
|
And nobody noticed that his targets have close to none or no resists at all

that's what i said ![]() Anyway fullbuff with TOA is different than Fullbuff on uth ![]() @Disdain : Yes as it was in most of case at this time ... ![]() |

My point was you can do damage like that on uthgard but you won't find many people rvring with 0-5% physical resist in emain.

It's strange to see an archery system that works properly. Watching the Scout transition from crit shot to normal shot to rapid fire without any problems is not something you'll see on Uthgard.
edit: Nice demonstration of the True Sight ra at 3:23 edit edit: wtf is up with the range on her bow? I'm assuming this must be from a ToA bonus?

he probably have very high aug dex plus full buff botted in this vid.

Its hard to compare damage from a video to uthgard, as there is just too many factors to look at. Bow spec, RAs, Buffs. Plus your targets class, there max HP, there setup and buffs and so on. But im not saying that bow damage could use some improving though on uthgard, comparing the bow preformance and cost to other classes, like 2H weapon classes. They may hit equaly, but the bow can only be used for a little, before being forced into melee with weaker dmg and defense. And with old ras and a purge with a long down time, will really hurt when your forced into melee vs shield targets with slam. Yes you can get decent bow dmg with a real high bow spec, but only at the cost of any decent melee use. And full bow with old ra, means worse stealth system for full bow kiting. The cost to your melee for better bow dmg is way too high on uthgard.
- Maybe if your shooting some one with poor resists or not good armor. I cant get near that on casters, and maybe 600-650 at most vs assasins. Most i have ever seen was on someone for 990 or so, but he/she was changing there armor around im guess, since after they got hit, and a very high dmging normal shot, the damage then went normal, just before they died.
- I think, depending on what time period this was (patch), it maybe a result of not having range bonus restricted to a max of 500 units. Also being the scout bow has the farthist range. And also i have shot from that location on uthgard and you can get quiet far, but you will hit the 500 range bonus cap real fast, and which is what that scout isnt hitting and gaining more range from, possibly. I hope they take that cap out as they should. Being no range bonus items/ras in classic. |

Bow damage on Uthgard looks "live-like". My ranger hits with a normal shot around 250 dmg + 30 dmg from the dmg add ... with 12+14 bow spec and only 320 dex. (320 dex is kind of quite low, my scout used to have near 380 with ToA Buff-Bonus) So when counting in that on Uthgard there are no buffbots and no ToA-bonus, bow damage seems to be fine. Especialy because on the other hand no one has such high hit points (My scout used to have around 1800 hp without ToA-Bonus, and arond 2100 hp with ToA bonus) It was always the case that only in rare situations you could kill a target only by using the bow. ![]() ![]() |

Is this ironic? |
