5vs5 Event - Sunday 5 December - 18:00 (6 pm)

a fight where you can be sure no one adds in the fight, a reserved spot just for your fight
![]() it's fun, but more like guildwars (which is also a great game) than daoc to me. |
It sure is daoc, the nondouchebaggy kind. If you're only familiar with the adding/zerging aspect of rvr then I feel sorry for you because you've been missing out for the past 5 years.

I said it is fun... and i play daoc since more than 9 years now and luv all kinds of fights. But what makes the rvr in daoc special for me is that you never know what's going to happen. And for me the best fights are those with adds from the 3rd realm, or more enemys from the second or 16 or more from the beginning, which you still manage to win. These are fights i can still remember after a week or so. While all the fair 8vs8 or whatever are fun, but nothing i can remember the next day. ![]() |
Then you won't gank me with your mighty 16slot next time I'm out solo? ![]()
you will never know... we even started not to kill solos sometimes. But the formular if we kill a solo or not is a real complicated fuzzy logic based random one, so you will never know
![]() and 16 slot... lolz can't even remember when we ran 16 slot the last time. A year ago? At least more than half a year. |
More like two days ago
I am assuming direct control.

You mean Saturday? Definatly not. Never more than 8, i was on the whole day.
If you are talking about friday it might be, i wasn't on that day. So if they ran 16 slot on friday... good job, i am proud of my guild ![]() |
16 slot means a number of people, not a number of guildies. Just because you run 8 dg with another group stuck, you don't consider it a 16slot ?

if we run sticked with another grp we got zerged at least 3 times, or got info about an enemy zerg. Others log out, we fight back. We never run with another grp without a reason, and it happens not often. And we split up as soon as there is no more reason for running with another grp.
But what happens most of the time is that another grp just adds into our fight... sry for that but what can we do about it? We don't flame adders, so people like to add into our fights. We are not happy about it, we just don't care. This is daoc ![]() |
You mean you died 3 times in 8vs8 to Rare or KT, zerg them and split up as soon as they log out ? ![]() Joking but last time I played you were running sticked with gdrw pug for god knows what reason, in fact it happens kinda often when I play (I must be unlucky and play at wrong time ^^) I am assuming direct control.
ye, gdrw is one of our first choice to team up, 'cause they run often, play quite decent and are always willing to team up against a zerg but insta split again afterwards... and gdrw only teams up to fight zergs, they would never run 16 slot on purpose. Must have been bad luck, there must have been a hib zerg around
![]() If you encounter our two grps i would be willing not to fight single fg's but that is up to the stickleader. Sometimes we engage enemy fgs seperate, one for dg, next for gdrw... without adding. I will vote to do this more often. |

Since when is "fg" a german word for solo ppl?
![]()
Fg is a german abbreviation for "anything that moves".
