ForumConnecting without the Daoc Portal

www.daocportal.net has been down for the past 2 days and I have been unable to download the portal to connect to the server. I am wondering if there is another way to connect to the server without going through the portal? And if there is how do I do that and also I am patched to the real games patch atm so how do I downpatch? I would really appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks again guys

If the list isn't updating for you like it isn't for me, try this:
Click the Custom Shards button, then right click -> Add Server. Enter IP/Hostname as uthgard.game-server.cc and default port 10300. Hit OK, then use your login info at the bottom of the window. Voila! |

That would work but I don't have the daocportal downloaded on this computer. It's a new computer and I don't have my other one and the only way I can seem to download the portal is to go to www.daocportal.net which is down at the moment. If anyone can link another site that I can download it at or even send me their file I can do it. Other than that though I need another solution >.<

Ah my bad, didn't catch that you didn't even have the portal. No idea on other links, I'd just spend a bit of time google and see if anyone has a mirror up.
