It was fun indeed, for once I could have decent solo/small group action in emain without getting rolled over by fgs, I wish this could happen more often ^^
I am assuming direct control.

Heho,

Don´t care about the relic raid, that is nearly normal after such event.
I think on the second event Alb did the same.

Its been said before but i'll say it again: pve-albs ..cry me a river plz.
You guys sucked because instead of thinking "okay, there is perhaps over a hundred hibs in our frontiers ... lets log our chars in excalibur" .. you just logged off in a huff and made a bloody half hearted attempt at defense. Last zerg event when hib was very low numbers and we got owned i made sure there was about 40 hibs in the relic keep after the event finished. so basically QQ!!!!

X realmers suxx

first run: 100 albs 80 mids 120 hibs
second run:80 albs 100 mids 120 hibs
third run: 60 albs 80 mids 160 hibs

so cute !

Personal Expierience with /bg count:

Official Zergevent startingtime: 80 Hibs

20 mins later (when Hibs finaly moved out of the telekeep :D): 107

Enemy-Albs: About 120+ (not sure, only heard it)
Enemy-Mids: About 90-110 (really no clue how many they were xD)

After we killed Albs in a awesome battle (15 mins of battle) they were about 110+ in the next fight. Hibs were 114 (highest count I had on the whole evening [checked the numbers every fight]).

So yeah, we were pretty sure NEVER over 120 hibs at the event!

My respect to the little amount of albs that tried to kill the Relicraid, you did very well!!

My disrespect to all who xrealmed and logged (you always expect to win, it's about fun No place for insults (Wally)..).

All in all it was an awesome Event, I loved all fights (yeah, the lost ones too). We had some tactics on hibside and Albs got some tactics too. I'm not sure if mids had ANY tactics, but you fought well :DD

Hail Uthgard-events!!

Lg Fin

(Sorry for my horrible english atm xD)

PS: I need the video from Holsten again, not available on megaupload :(( )

Albs didnt reach even 100 on first battle, last wipe we had 60 on hadrians, and relic defence 40 aprox, and hibs had a really bigger zerg than mids on first battle.

my video IS still available on megaupload... when megaupload says not available you only need to reload the page several times (F5), and maybe wait some mins while doing this, until it works.

But i uploaded it also here, since megaupload suxx the more people try to download a file : http://www.filefront.com/17251531/Uthga ... nt_III.wmv

May take some minutes 'till it is available

And midgard had a tactic... tanks in the front and full push, sounds simple but kind of worked :)

because some people like to play zerg vs zerg and not 8v8/1v1/etc?

As everyone new here on uthgard and coming from live says... 8v8 is nice and for sure the ultimate discipline, and no one wants to destroy that.

But also part of daoc is the daily (mostly low rr) zerg in each realm, where you can join whenever you want, leave whenever you want, can gather some higher rr after bg and just have some fun without care too mich about grp setup and stuff. And that is totally not existing here on uthgard.

And it's not the number of players missing, as such events show. It is just the mentality here.

Given your RvR presence, I wouldn't call other realms "pve-".

Last night, for example, 5 relics and all that hib could bring out were some stealthers and a random group sometime late. Albs had Rare, KT and a random, mids had Gecko's and a random.

maybe if many people won't start to say: NO ADD, or DON'T FOLLOW US, mostly BG players or PvE players would like to go into the frontiers.
KT and Rare do that always (in my experience of Alb) and they do stupid things like leave the fight and let other grp dies or something like this.
Well yes playing 8vs8 or 1vs1 bring more rps to you, but maybe because KT over rr8 and random players coming from thidranki are only rr4, that would be: KT have 70% of chance to win inc, random have only 30%.
Little OT: I won't think when OldRAs coming...players that have to go in frontiers with lvl 35 and 2L1...

err, i made/joined fg's twice yesterday evening, both times quitting after 20-30 minutes no inc. do you expect people to run around an empty emain? boring :p

Don't know which emain you were roaming, but the one in which the 6 mentioned FGs were in had enough inc to go around. The 30k rps I got on cleric yesterday pretty much speak for that. :P

some hibs have asked me to upload the first fight we had on the zerg event
... we were 105 when we left hpk btw

no sound, no editing done, but this 10 minute fight should give a good impression of the zerg events dimension:

download Hib vs Alb (ca. 390 MB - Megaupload)
