just get +11 mind and you can charm lvl 50 pets (assuming you are at 39 spec), you simply need 2 pieces of armor that are Sced with just that (at higher RR even 1 should be enough).

You can't, not reliably at least, and it takes multiple tries if it even succeeds at all. Since the charm formula is wrong, it gets easier with higher realm ranks, but that's about it.

I can't charm level 50 with 37+19 mind.

+mind from item/rr only count as 1/3 towards charming level, they use the same formula used for minstrel charm, that means 44+18(6 lvls) for like 99% charm success on lvl 50 mob.

everyone and their mother knows this is and was not livelike, but not the staff apparently

or they know but dont have the man power to fix it right now

seems like thats the case now, but it took a lot of convincing
