Please give our Uthgard staff a clap on the back. ALWAYS remember, if it wasn't for them, this place wouldn't exist. Even though we ALL know it has it's bugs, glitches and lackings - just remember, YOU'RE HERE BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO BE.. Fellow players, it's a FREE old school Emain Macha, those are just chilling words in themselves. So everytime you're irritated, irate or just plain angry - remember, "They're here, they're trying and they have real lives too... it will just take time." GIVE THEM ONE!!

PS: Don't forget to donate money freaks, it's helpful to keep us going!! nothing in life is free!! I can only IMAGINE upkeep cost for Uthgard is about $700+ a month

Nixian, Trishin, Eleras and dear Lintu - u my favorite lol - DAoC just has a tranquility to it that only this staff has brought to me in YEARS... I applaud and thank you.

Costs money to hold a server and keep it running. Might not be $700 but at least a few hundred I would imagine.

Maintenance. Website / Server / Game / Coders etc etc..
Spyware - bot protection for game and website - not free(if it's being used)
Electricity to keep the server up
Place to store it...

EVERYTHING costs money, might not cost much, might be sitting in someones home, BUT ... was just trying to get the point across that we appreciate it

to rend a server like uthgard should not be more than 100$ a month, even more like 50$. Still this is money.
