Because this server wants to be Live-like and strafing was never an abuse when I have played.

OK...But the "anti straf" mechanism is an Uthgard custom change! So this need to be removed,because it's a penality for non "pro strafers",and it's a fail against them,as they are able to land their positional stuns.

one tip. dont try to strafe. use mouse turn. best example is zarkors vid. you said he was strafing. he never strafed. he just run through his opponent or uses his mouse turn. i dont like this playstyle but i know how to counter it

I have never heard or experienced anything like an anti strafe mechanism on Uthgard. Would you care to explain? (if you mean that you sometimes get the "you were strafing etc etc" message when not really strafing. This doesn't mean there is an anti-strafe mechanism. Just that it might be working a bit buggy or have problems when lag is involved)

When you hit the normal straf keys on your keyboard (A+E on azerty keyboard) while fighting you get :

You perfectly execute your Style (+XXX)
You were strafing and miss

This is totaly custom to Uthgard and this don't exist on any other server(live or not).

The worst thing with that is that you miss with anytimer and nostyle too.

This mechanism don't need to exist as far as it can't stop the "straf cheaters" and give a penality to fair players.

And if you think that straf abuse is not a bug,than,give the method to land positionnals to everyone.Samething for thoses who still run when stuned and apear far behind 3 sec later.

QQ my pc lags it's not on purpose i do that stop farming horse route anyways -.-

strafing in combat and miss exists on live and other servers its just not punished as hard as it is on uthgard.

on live you could strafe around and (guesstessimate) 20% of the time you get the strafing message but on uthgard you just have to look at the strafe button the wrong way to get this message.

sidestyle arcs are bigger than they were on live server from my opinion... and i used to play with ma paladin against rangers.... and well paladin fight are not exactly fast so alot of chances for them to stun me... but well it happened maybe once in 10 fights when i turned the wrong way since i never sticked....

but here on uthgard i see a ranger running straight at me and as soon as he is in melee range i am stunned and he is behind me backstyling... which is kind of weird.

ontopic i must say it has all been said... chances to hit a single target using volley sucks and always has been of no usability against solos except on uthgard some time ago i heard....

Volley can't go back to the way it was. Totally OP against assassins, casters, and some support.

You guys have to remember....

This is not a classic server....

This is a Uthgard Classic server....

Batteries are not included....

Censorship is included....

Some charges/changes may still apply....

Their sandbox....
