Forum(Rename) Problem: Renderer creation failed

Well, DaOC worked before i formatted and removed service pack 2 etc...but since i formated my pc, i get this error when i try connect to the server via DAoC Portal, it says: Renderer Creation Failed!
I am not sure what the problem is, do i need windows xp service pack 2?  |

you certainly have a problem with you Graphic Card. Have you reinstalled the drivers ? Are they up-to-date ? Do they correspond to your Graphic Card ?

hmm ,they are not upto date no, i installed them after i formated, but i have not yet updated them however. Ill do now, and if it works you are a star!

Post your config.

I fixed it i think now.
It seems to ONLY work with windows xp service pack 2.  thanks for help btw ^^
Should be in-game soon. |

if it doesn't work...did you think of reinstalling directx?

No, because it worked
Maybe the sp2 install also install direct x for me?? who knows ^^ all i know is i am finally in-game
