actually its about 2 ideas which one of it has never been discussed here cause its a new one. so i would appreciate if the postings in this thread would have anything to do with those 2 ideas or what i said in the opening post.
also i wanna say that this thread has nothing to do with the attitude of players. its about the rvr zone not the mentality... i agree that it needs more than just better conditions of the rvr zone to increase the fun for everyone, yes the mentality of the people and their attitude towards rvr, pvp or whatever is a big part of it too, but nothing that could be changed by a forum thread. if you wanna change peoples attitude or try to make them understand what they do is not good for the whole, then talk to them one by one. but please dont use this thread for this, theres noone who can give a solution to this in here so please focus on the topic.
Thanks

by the way another reason for me how those 3 new porter keeps could positively influence the rvr happenings:
people who are raiding bledmeer or beno, or other keeps that are close to enemy porter keeps have rarely enemy contact during their raid, the port to a central station in the zones could have positive influence of the attitude to defend the own keeps as the chances would be higher to reach them before the lord gets kicked.

the time to get there is almost always enough ,.. as long as you run speed 5

the problem is that you dont get a realmwide messages and dont have the knowledge that there is a keepraid going

for changing this ppl on this forum requested realmwide messages which were declined already as you idea was ,..

sorry for telling what i know/ i ve read.

Hm I was thinking why should the keep be unattackable? If bolg is captured the port could move to another keep. That would atleast give one incentive for people to care about their keeps. Like it was in NF with the porter lines.

Well, I think its an great idea, to short or remove the porttimer.
If we would have 1000+ in 50th RvR, it would not be a problem.

I like and agree with the ideas, the RvR population is too small for the big RvR areas

I agree with Griselda. When Uthgard was instant port to rvr there was much higher rvr population. With the introduction of OF and OF RA soon I hope, the rvr population should be higher than previous but it's not. Perhaps this is because port times. Sometimes I go to emain and there are 0 enemies, especially during USA primetimes when population on server is around 250-300. I think it's worth a test^......

I like this idea...I know lots of people don't play Hib due to the run from DL. This would also get rid of for the most part Horse trail lamers.

I think is a good idea, waiting 10 minute all wipe is very boring, some stop rvr for that because no time to wait another port, or when need wait someone who have miss port. so i think porter more fast, or one port at a keep like it said can be good. sorry if its not understable with that english :D

Seems that Agramon was a better map than OF (as i said looong time ago).
Now, the damage is done, rvr is much much lower than it should, reasons?
-Timed teleporting sux (this is a game, we come here to play, not to wait, we already xped to 50!!!!!) And once u reach emain, take ages to find enemies, and when u find them, usually they are more than you, so you die, and wait again, and die again...(this is the most usual reason which people does more pve than rvr)
-OF Map is not good for rvr, because realm doors are far away one from other. (yep, a meeting point for TP could fix it)
-Staff want uthgard be livelike, this is a nice idea, but, Uthgard has 20% pop of any livelike server. OF is ok for a big active rvr population, not for uthgard.

Big + to this idea.
Uthgard needs a change.

Uthgard needs a fun injection imo. It is such a slow paced dreadful timesink, i get the xping to 50, it has it's benefits, but the running in nothingness is just demoralising, noone wants to run 20-30minutes to either log, or get an 'unequal inc' and die.

THE TIMESINK SHOULD BE ONLY PRESENT IN PVE, RVR should be the incentive to level one char, not a whole bunch of them cause pve is actually more fun than RVR. RVR should be all about fun, if these two ideas make that happen, i'm all for them. And if rvr gets it's fun factor back i might actually play actively again aswell.
