bluraven has updated its patcher to roll back client version 1.104 to 1.103.

Seems that Mythic have updated the 1.104 without telling anyone, this is why the patcher wasn't working anymore.

Here it is the new version ready to be downloaded.

How to install (Only if you have problems with characters, and logging issues):

1) Patch the client (it will be v1.104) to US Labyrinth version with DAOC Portal

2) Run the rollback patcher (client will be v1.103)

3) Apply the Uthgard mod to the client using DAOC Portal as usual.

4) Enjoy!

If the patcher stops finding your 1.104 client again send me a PM either here or on DOL and I will get a new one made again.

At this time I am unable to make one for EU as I do not have a 1.103 EU client to create the patch from. If someone has one and are willing to send it to me, I'll be happy to make an EU 1.104 -> 1.103 patch as well.

Hi Raven tanks for it. i have found a simple way for it, but you need a running game for it. You need only ervery file from your doc file, who is not in a under file (its 24 mb), and copy in the not running file. Then the game will work.
Perhaps you can post a zip Version of this files.

Thanks for your comments. Personally I think it's better to have a one click solution that is user friendly and can do everything automatically and it's less then 5 MB, that and I hesitate to post direct copies of client files.

Looks like the rollback patch has stopped working again. This will happen any time mythic changes the 1.104 patch with a "hotfix" that affects the 1.104 files. Sight tight, I'm working on a new one.

You can login with v1.104 - just tried and it worked.

Can you make a new character though? Seems like that is still a problem from what I'm hearing from people.

I've updated the patcher again.

Please use this link when telling people about it as it will point to the latest patch as I replace them with new ones when there is a hotfix to 1.104.

1.104 is still a problem, I just tested it and when you create a new character and try to log in that character, it bumps you back to the character select screen. It might be working for characters that are already made though, that I'm not sure about. This will require a developer to create fully working packet handlers for 1.104, they can't just be "dummy" handlers like for most patches where it's just a copy of the previous version handler. I'll continue to make the 1.104 -> 1.103 rollback patch until 1.104 is fully supported.

Update: 1.104 handlers have been released (Thanks Darwin!) for DOL (pretty sure Uthgard has them implemented already) so you should no longer need this patch to play, however you may not want 1.104 due to the live event content it includes (black sky and thick fog in some areas), in which case feel free to still use this patch. I'll still be keeping it updated as needed.

What about us with EU clients? Downgrader only works for the US version.
