Hi Uthgard players!
Another week is gone, so we have new RvR statistics to look at.

Like last week, I only took the data from chars, who had:
- more than 10 000 lwrps (would have been too much work otherwise)
- a realmrank equal or higher than 4L3 (to filter out battleground activity)

So, this time it was 504 chars that matched the two conditions.

Here are the results:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Image
Graphic 1: All LWRPs of the classes of each realm added together

Image
Graphic 2: All LWRPs of the stealthers and the non-stealthers of all realms added together.
I wasn't sure where to put the Minstrels, so I seperated them.

Image
Graphic 3: All LWRP's of each class from Albion added together. Also shown is the number of chars of each class.

Image
Graphic 4: All LWRP's of each class from Midgard added together. Also shown is the number of chars of each class.

Image
Graphic 5: All LWRP's of each class from Hibernia added together. Also shown is the number of chars of each class.

Image
Graphic 6: This is the average LWRP for one player for each class of all three realms. Also shown is the numbers of chars of each class, graphs are sorted by this.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sidenote
If you want to compare this to the results of the last week, look here.

There is also a thread with the average values of all weeks evaluated so far.
You find it here: link

My comment
- Woot, Infis!

Now have fun discussing!

Uthgard is becoming more and more stealth-war-server. Real gameplay gets more and more difficult.
My Albion:

Chars: 50 Minstrel, 50 Infiltrator, 50 Paladin, 50 Reaver, 50 Theurgist, 50 Scout, 50 Friar, 50 Sorcerer, 50 Cleric, 50 Wizard, 50 Mercenary, 48 Cabalist, 48 Armsman

Crafting: LGM Alchemist, LGM Armorcrafter, LGM Tailor, LEG Spellcrafter, LEG Weaponcrafter, LEG Fletcher

I would believe Odin's and Hadrian's are indeed very soloable zones.

Also, yes, this server is already a huge stealth war. It's gonna be nice to see all those MoS stealthers who are gonna reroll once the OF RAs are implemented, cause suddenly they no longer get the jump on people.

I wish Mythic would just give up this game so the population of Ywain could end up here instead and we could get some proper f'ing action here.

I can't understand why ppl only want solo in MMO game...
duo/trio are very fun
Anyway it's a shame to see 32% of server are stealthers.

95% of Ywain population would hate it here I bet :D

Anyway funny to see infis rake in over a quarter of all alb lwrps.

Just play the game how youd like and enjoy it. There is nothing wrong with that.

-On topic

I like how the ranger pop/rplw is now going down, and the NS and infi are greatly increasing now. The ranger QQing has died down or gone away, with no custom changes at all. It just shows that people play what ever will be the strongest, told by the people on the forums, and not because a class is bugged or doesnt fit into the server setup. Many of those rangers, got to 50, just to find things are greatly diffrent, and now read the forums to play a NS or infi :P

Will there be QQing about the number of NS and Infi? Hope i highly dought it, they are assasins. The only QQ will most likely be from the SBed agenst the other two.

Eclipsed, everyone know it's just because of the Old RA annunced inc.
And however: going down? lol, it's just the second class, and every week there are 30+ active rangers.

The thing that stands out the most to me about those statistics is in the last graphic.

Look at all the top 10 LWRPS, and looks at what type of melee mechanics they use.

Inf- DW
Ranger- CD
Nightshade- CD
support toon
support toon
blademaster- CD
shadowblade- LA
support toon
Minstrel -1H
Berserker- LA

6 of the top 10, and 6 out of 7 of the tanks (or all if you count minstrel as support) in the top 10 are LA/CD/DW, with the only class that uses those mechanics not being represented, the Mercenary, being #13 behind 2 more support. That's pretty remarkable, every class using those mechanics at the top.

Coincidence? Or do the broken defense rates have a massive direct impact on what classes are both actively RvRing, and doing so with success?

I'd pick the latter. But that's what stuck out to me from the data.
