Maybe this is an Noob Question for some People but i Just wondered if a BM
Could use Celtic Dual with an Shield Equiped and when if the Shield works like an Left hand Weapon ?

Seems Noob but im a Hib Noob so i ask

Nope you cant. 2 weapons (no shield) = celtic dual/dual wield/left axe.

So Celtic Dual just works with Leftweapon, so if i
make an Shield BM i don t need skill CD because Shield doesn count as Lefthand Weapon and does no Dmg on CD Styles?

Not if you don't plan on switching the shield with a secondary weapon no, but in that case you better roll a hero instead.

Shieldspec is only needed if you want to guard someone or have slam (9 sec anytime stun). So you have to switch or make a Hero for a defensive char.

You simply cant use CD styles with shield equipped.

Hmm But Hero got No Stoirism And i would find it funny to have an Tank with Good blockrate and high Evade chance and even Parry chance then there is als Charge and many other good Skills on Bm so why Shouldn t i Play 50weapon 50 Schield 28 Parry?

Heroes do have Stoicism.

Well even with that they miss whirlwind,Third wielding Enchanced Evade and Charge what i think is very good on an tank Even when they can only wear Reinforced, I think i will test it Respec isn t that dificult

BM (new charge soon gone):
Old charge (not that good like new one), triple wield, advanced evade (high evade), dual wield

Whats the recast timer on mutant moose mode anyways?

For solo levling this might be true. In groups, tanking multiple mobs, Hero are much better tanks. Evade and parry is reduced against multiple attacker and BMs also can only equip medium shields, which can only block 2 attackers without penalty.

and Trip, cheap det5, cheap purge, PF, Grapple

many might not get Trip or Grapple but i think its worth saying now that you meantion realm abilitys.

comming from playing my 49 BM in thidranki, shield spec rox!
running around with a small shield slamming you target, swap shield with dual wieldweapon and use the sidestyle chain is awsome.
most stealthers/casters die in 3 hits after slam (others in 4-5) maybe more if they are buffed and i am not.

my opinion: if you can figure out swapping weapons in rvr fights go 42 shield for slam!
if you cant manage to do so get some more dmg and spec 50/50
