Youtube just chooses the lowest resolution by default.

i know that mate, i am kinda obsessed with HD material, what i am talking is your
IN game resolution, must be 800x600 or max 1024x768 if i am not wrong.

when you watch that video at 720p yes it looks sharp and clear but the
real resolution of your source video was not 720p it is actually upgraded
to 720p which means 1280x720 thats why it looks kinda streched as well.

if your monitor is 17" or 19" 4:3 you should play at 1280x1024, if its bigger

like ~20" then 1440x900 or if its 22"+ 1680x1050.

..or if its a 15" one then i totally understand but if not...

then you will have a lot more space for qbars and chat/combat windows plus you will see more of the game in general.

Okay i misread your post then, my ingame resolution is 1024 x 768 on a 22" screen,
its pure habbit from when i played in 2002 hehe, but perhaps i should check out 1680 x 1050 and see if i can adjust to it
