but I would not go full bomb tbh due to the fact that you might get into situations where bombing really is not the best solution so a mix between bomb/normal caster setup:

3x pbaoe, prefarbly 1 chanter 2 elds (elds specced: 39 mana 37 light)
1x mentha, demezz + for good dmg on non-bomb fights

this gives:

1. a good pbaoe
2. 2 semi good pbaoes (still strong enough to pwn)
3. 2nd demezzer + the ability to run extend groups when bombing a full group doesn't work
4. 2x Yellow NS (uber in old RA setting)

1 eld might be good with 50 mana(I believe this is last pbaoe?) 20 light though


that is how I would do it personally


ps. if I miss some weird ability that makes class X better than Y , please explain to me ^^


This. But last bomb is 48 Mana ;)

Maybe red NS instead of red bomb.

and the ment loses their escape tool, the eld loses their escape tool, they can't SoS and the nerfing of DI is worse for the casters than for the tanks imo.


I think it will depend on how the interrupt code is working when this launches more than anything.

I think it will depend on how the interrupt code is working when this launches more than anything.


I say its good that DI will perish, it would be impossible to run a bomb group with it as it rely on fast hard dmg and suprise attack. I always hated DI and it will be a RA i wont miss.

you seem to forget that mids wont be getting into melee as easy as now with SoS/Charge dumping on inc

and the damage from tanks isn't too bad it's just when combined with AoG spam that it really takes effect.

the loss of DI hurts true, but it hurts mid healers just as much.

we didn't have an active skald for months in our GGs, so not having SoS wont bother me at all.

the most critical factor for melee damage imo will be whether or not defense penetration gets fixed.

beyond that, albs will lose a lot of defense with pallies being stuck on 30 minute purge. but 50% bof is a nice addition

not even sure if many albs will run with a pala :grin:

arms can do the job better and people can use tireless ra/LW and endu pots

plus Solderis Barricade is nice vs tank grps.

tbh I think I like faith healing more than SB, but if defense penetration gets fixed, and hybrids don't get det, its hard to justify a dedicated shield hyrbid guard bot with small endo range.

DI is replaced by Battery of Life, albeit on a 30 min timer.

Also pally will be hard to fit into any setup.

Some Purga toons: Usa, Infamous, Hue, Pimpdaddy, Sonicboom.
Some i50 Genesis & Thidranki ones: Enders, Usa, Krazykobby, Defiance, Formidable.

Almost every inc get pwned by Insta mezz lol. The f8 Slambot is also hot.
Better to slam someone 4 times in a row. Also very few Alb 8 mans, only randomzerg because most Albs did rather PvM than RvR at this time.

Jea its nice to have no more fights that last a while, just mezz and bomb to win is totally greate. Because we arent here to have funny fights for all, no we want arpeees and we want them fast and without any effort.

You can be happy to have any albs running at all.
Handicapped with the worst setups and thier only real strentgh (range) will get totally disabled. I bet most of them reroll hib or mid.
People learned to use Nearsight now, making theurg/sorc pretty useless.

It would be more important to fix the existing bugs before bring OF and 1000 new ones...

2 times imba Baod + red warden resists will make you pretty imune against everything for 1 minute, + BT, Block/slambot makes your bombtower very stable against assisttrains. You also have 3 pets to make your easymode perfect.
