So yeah please help me I want to play!

I keep getting this message when I download the patches and try to patch them with the mod manager, please help?

Sounds that the program has no permission to write the file.
If you have vista or 7 you could try to execute it as admin.

If you have Vista/Xp you also shouldn't install it in "Program Files", try to shift it to C:\games or so and try again.

remember its all the daoc portal files that needs to run as admin (modmanager, daocportal.exe, etc)

You have to run DAoC Portal with administrator permissions, that's what this error tries to tell you.
