Join the Uthgard 8vs8 event

For all Player on the Server, at Friday evening 11.06.2010 20:00 CET. (Central European Time = GMT +1)

I'like to encourage all players that prefer this playstyle come and join.

Zone for this event, Jamtland Mountains

TIME: Get your groups ready at the startingpoints (see below) around 19:30, furthermore the first group @ starting point may head out first.
(see rules for more info)

Starting Points
----------------

For Midgard: Outside Svasud Faste, near horse merchant.
For Hibernia: HTK @ Odins Gate.
For Albion: ATK @ Odins Gate.

Rules
------

Some decent players in each group of each realm will be needed to ensure that we keep this a 8vs8 fight and it doesn't end up as a zerg fest.
So plz I beg the high RR players that sometimes QQ(not ment as an insult) about zergs, keep your guild members & realm members in line.

Now for the rules themselves,

1) The event will start at 20:00 CET but not all groups per realm may rush out to Jamtland at the same time, the first 2 groups that were there gets to go out first, after death they go back to the end of the que and the second load of groups may go.

2) The fighting zone is Jamtland due it being simmalir in distance to all 3 realms so Hibs & Albs I beg you not to start fighting @ Odins gate.
Just ignore each other till you get at Jamtland mountains.

This is not a rule violation, fighting together vs Mids would be,
but preffering not to kill an ennemie at a certain place or time is not,

3)No adding ofc, fights will be 8vs8 only, even if Hibs & Mids are fighing, a rushing in Alb group may not add, they have to search for an other 8man group. (thats why per realm 2 groups head out per turn)

4)When you encounter an 8man group that is still busy rezzing or buffing you may kill them, it may seem brutal but it unsures that all groups in all realms get a chance at 8vs8 battle.

5)Refrain from /rude /laugh & other emotes this is not needed and can only lead to heated tempers and perhaps into zergs, what we all don't want.

But most of all do keep in mind that this 8vs8 event prior should be FUN!!

So you only want to fight 8 vs 8 this day? Does that mean you ignore solos/smallgroups in the zones as well as long as they dont interfere?

For me it does & I hope it does for all others too, cause I can't make them so I can only hope on their goodwill.

But vice versa, solo's or smallman groups are not supposed to add in at 8vs8 groups either! Else it ends up as Emain is today anyhow.
