Today I got horrible lags that really turned the game unplayable. Connexion freezes of 3 or 4sec every 15secs during fights and little bit less out of fights.
I heard that these lags could come from the fact that I play from France, and I would like to have more information about that, and maybe the solution to fix it if there is one.

This is happening to me aswell.. I keep having huge spikes and I cant even ride on a horse..? I buy the ticket, sit on the horse, then it drops me off!

I started having this same problem this-morning and decided to run some tracert to see where the problem was. Here is what I found. Hope it helps track down the problem. The first tracert was fine, then the next 2 had problems server side. A ping -t to the server results in about 50% packet loss. Ping -t to google results in solid 45ms returns with 0% packet loss.

USUALLY .. its telia / hertzner.. so sorry that once / 100 times its actually the server

There is none.
Don't think they change their host just for a few players, when all others don't have any problems.

well, as pointed out, its not the host but the actual gameserver

another player that wont be able to play here because of the lag. I ran a tracert as well and the first 12 were fine then it went to 300ms + for the rest. I keep getting frquently disconnected and have huge lag spikes that last 10 seconds+ in game.

Pretty annoying as I think I would have enjoyed it here and would have brought friends.

There may be a bug in the servercode that eats up memory and gets the server into trouble over time. This is speculation but I saw a memory usage increase over the last month.
