Interesting. Got 3 PAs yesterday and no miss at all. Never saw PAs missing or do you mean no style?

On the other hand missrate of arrows is really... high.

this is due to this change:
Code: Select all
[10.03.2010]
- Change: Initial delay of about 1/2 second when entering combat mode has been removed. You will hit your target immediately upon entering combat mode. This especially helps with chaining styles.

i had to change my timing as my SB relies on PA/CD, but now i can land them again.

BS on moving targets was so easy to land before the change and it's hard to find the right timing now. so not only PA is affected.

The point is, as i went on Uth i wondered why i have to push the PA button so early to get the PA right, because it wasn't like that on live, since they removed this timer it is live-like and u need a new timing to push the PA button now.

The problem is, that the "Style Range Bonus" does not count for stealth-styles. So when you stand on max. Melee Range the PA/BS-Styles won't work. But this is a bug and should not be wanted.

So the way it is now is actually livelike? Can you prove that with some footage perhaps?

quite a lot of sbs told me it now feels livelike while it didn't before, just hearsay of course, i never played a sb beyond lvl 35

so the timing is different now and will feel wrong for players who play for a long time here on uthgard or have never played live... but you will get used to it, just press the button 0,5 sec later than you would before :P

It's not about pressing the style .5 seconds later, what's wrong is that after I'm on top of someone my style fails (either not in view or not in range) and I do an unstyled swing at the same time. This change is definitely not livelike. I'm not talking about CS but any styles on any class.
