I have done a few searches but I cannot find anything about this. Anytime that I move my mouse when in the game it lags me out something severely. If I go into mouse look mode "hold down right-mouse" it goes away. If it sits still it runs fine, if I move it the game lags so bad I cannot even play.

Whats your video card spec? Also, make sure you have 1GB RAM at least. Ctrl-alt-del to see the background processes that use a lot of resources. There can be anything when you video-lag under winblows os.

I am running on an i7 920, GTX280 SOC edition, and 6gb of G.Skill ddr3.

More than capable of running this. The game runs flawless, the only time I have this issue is when I move the mouse cursor.

Are you using some kind of custom mouse drivers? Some bad websites install their own mouse drivers through internet exloder without user knowing it. Check your windows pagefile if its big enough. Does the lag happen when you pan your camera, when you simply move your mouse, or when you turn your toon with mouse? I'm sure it has nothing to do with daoc, it has to be somethign with your mouse software or something ..

I don't have a page file as it is turned off. No need for it with the computer I have.


The issue apparently was my G5 mouse. anytime that I would move the cursor with it the lag would happen. I switched to my old MX1000 and it works just fine.
