Seyha, the possibility to poison other players weapons has always been a feature in DAoC. The only limitation is that you cannot poison crush-type weapons (as they do not "cut") as well as the fact that classes without envenom-specline will face an extreme variance when it comes to DoT-poison.
Characters:
Midgard: Nothing atm Albion: Nothing atm Hibernia: suxx ^^ |

Sethor, the same can be said for buff-bots. Buff-bots are live-like. Buff-bots are 'classic DAoC'. If you don't believe me, then why did Mythic eventually patch in support for multiple clients on one computer? When DAoC originally shipped you could only have one client active per computer. With the multi-client patch Mythic intentionally, if not "officially," supported buff-bots. There are several weapons besides "crush" type that can't be poisoned. Spears H2H Scythes Pole-Arms Flex Large Weapons How is it fair that classes spec'd for these weapons don't get access to poison? This is yet another broken "feature" that adds nothing to the game except abuse. Last edited by Seyha on Apr 22, 2010 14:41, edited 1 time in total.

Answer is easy if your hunter want poisoned weapon spec sword, savage can spec sword or axe...

You can't force people to choose a sub-optimal spec (sword Hunters suck) just so that they can have access to the same feature that other classes get for free.

lol how not. Different specs gives you different abilities. Pole arm hits hard, sword can be poisoned. You can change what you want. Hunter can poison his sword but hit low, if he want he hit hard he must use spear. You can say that zerker hits hard and can poison his weapon, but tell who play more in group with sbs zerker or hunter? |

A bow Ranger hits you with snare poison and kites away. Your purge is down. The bow Ranger /faces and starts spamming you with Rapid Fire. How do you counter this? Let's assume that you are playing a class that doesn't have access to snare poison of its own, or you don't have a snare-poison weapon ready. The problem isn't with DoT poison. It is the utility poisons (snare, disease, debuff) that have the potential for abuse.

And there are other point, hunter can swith to sword for poison enemie and back to spear.

You are right. I now have 7 poisoned weapons in my inventory. Lets see what happens.

all classes can use staffs, can't they?
