Updated to version 1.101 today and kept getting warning that I don't have the classic patch loaded. Even though I've run the patch to install it. I deleted the daoc directories and reinstalled the game and run the patchs again and same thing. It keeps telling me I haven't loaded the classic patch in bright yellow letters when I log in. I stuck. Please help.

P.S. Problem mysteriously dissapeared and I have no rhyme or reason why. gawd I hate it when that happens.

I've had the exact same problem. If I go through and uninstall each patch and then reload each one individually and log in it will show everything is fine, but once I log out and log back in it says its not installed. You got me on how to fix it. Just wanted to let you know that your not the only one having this problem. Also, on a side note, I've noticed that I seem to crash less when I DON'T uninstall and reinstall the patches. Its weird...

After each update of Daoc you have to patch your mods again (Classic Fix, Tajendi, Craftfix etc).

Im using 1.101 atm and I have no problems with using the patch on this version.

Was running version 1.95 with no problems. Decided to run the EU camelot.exe and see if there was any upgrades. when it was done it had upgraded me to version 1.101. I ran portal and re-ran all the patches/mods to make sure it was up to date. When I logged in I got the yellow text saying I don't have the classic mod loaded. I talked to someone online and they recommended that I delete all DAOC folders and files and reinstall a fresh version, they thought maybe I'd corrupted it some how. After a fresh install and running portal/mods I still get the same yellow text saying I don't have the classic mod loaded. If I log out and run the mod again it still says I don't have the classic mod loaded. Telling me I need to run the mods after each update is something I already know and have done. I'm not sure how to explain to you or anybody else that no matter how many times I run the portal mods the game will not see the classic mod no matter how or when I reinstall them. I am having a problem, I am looking for a way to solve the problem. Telling me that your running the same version and your not having any problems is nice and all, but not very helpfull...

Ya I tryed that too but nothing. But now the message has gone away. The only thing I can think of that might of affected it is turning off my pc and coming back to it later might have done it. I don't know how many times I've told people in the past try rebooting your machine to see if that will fix it. Also happens to be the first thing I forget when I'm trying to fix my own problem.
