1.85 patch gave bersekers loooooooooove, side stun folowed by aurora borealis..no nerf:P

Also :
1.91 patch that brought dmg modifiers to style

Berseker,shadowblade
The level 34 Left Axe style 'Doublefrost' has had its damage increased slightly.

Well then we are on 1.80 and have a problem ^^, so many dmg to left axe and so FEW to 2hand pole and LW

If you feel your pole dmg is too weak here, go live do tests and come and show us, just talking aint gona help us.

It's not neccesarily that the damage is weak, but without celerity and the fact that pole/2h takes a MASSIVE amount of endurance is why it fails.

Back to topic.


Now its really nearly impossible to get a solid rvr group together.

IF TC runs with guildgroup theres like no chance to get people for another group :(

unfortunately toblerone is right. the number of hib player that make rvr usually is very low now, and getting lower for many reasons like:

  • missing on hib side some strong gank.
  • some class aren't implemented in a way that improve the experience of people and the help on rvr. (but never change for 1.80+ policy)
  • some player that reach 50 don't want to learn how to play
  • close mind player that don't want teach or accept in their group other people that aren't so good player
  • don't add mind that hib is full inside the most part of rvr people (mean if you add than next time i'll not group you if you need a slot for rvr)

Too many flaw on our realm but some of them are from players... but others from settings of shard.

Please staff if you can, change almost the settings that don't help hib to get easy rvr group. To chage the mind of people it's impossible for every body.

I play mid and i see the same problems over here, you cant change ppls mind. the 8 men comunity is in my opinion the reason you have 1000 players online but only 20 in frontiers. either you play their playstyle or you are not welcome. this leads to the situation we have here. new players wil be frustrated verry quick and level a stealther/bg toon.

further most of those pro-gamers have multiple accounts and play all realms. they just swap arround, realm pride or loyality ends with their need for greed.

Only solution for low rr/new players in rvr: grp up to more than 8 slot. Don't be in the IRC, deactivate broad chat, don't read this forum and simply don't care what the 8-slot community babbles to itself.

Use the /broad or /lfg chat to find an add grp, don't care for flames, or report them to get the flamers banned, and just go for it.

And no 8-slot grp that is really into nice fights and not just ganking will complain anyway, every 16-slot of low rr players can be killed by a good 8-slot grp.

Which would not be that much of a problem if we had 2 gates like in agra, so that those who dont want to participate in mindless mid zergs can avoid them and have decent fights more to their playstyles liking.

Holsten has a good point , he has a beer from me. Indeed newcomers are rejected by the fotm players and seeing that they leave RVR, i dont mind fighting 2 fg of lower rr players but ocasionally if posible :) not all the time .

And yes..we r lucky to have all types of players in mid that do RVR , good ones bad ones, while on hib.. i just see the flavor of the month names playing now and then after that they log and thats about it, no1 else.. like some1 said above..some Xrealmers who play on all realms and go where they like , i d love to see an implementation that will prevent you to make an acount or even log on a diferent realm then the one you usually play from your IP , that will force players to stay on hib,alb,or mid and not wander around on all 3 realms .

because it's easy on mid, and so you can just full grps with crap players and still have fun winning fights...

mid is easier realm to play and so it's easier to get new people into rvr and being successful, which keeps them wanting to come back.

hib/alb are harder to keep winning fights and so keep the spirit of the group up..

just look at the number of hib guilds that have made it to 4lX and quit because of pure frustration... and these are guild groups and so actually have more dedication than random pugs.

Actually this week our grp only formed on monday, since some people had some rl things to do, the rest of the week i joined/formed pug grps... and you can't win a single fight out there in emain, even as an op mid grp :wink:

every day was like 10k rp in 3-4 hours, done by ganking some solos or rushing df.

Because the only grps running in emain are good 8-slot grps. During this week i could witness at least 3 new players who lost any interest in doing 50 rvr ever again.

Call me a bad looser, but in this situation i will form 16 slot grps in the future, to at least have a chance.

I am sorry i can do this only in mid, 'cause i only have a mid char, as i agree mid needs this the least.

fair enough...

but even if its hard to win, please form 10/12/14 slot first :D

fighting 8v16 is annoying.. but possible

if we also get a few adds it becomes nearly impossible :P
