Warior 50+15 sword spec, hiting a zerker, calculating the base dmg u get 213 on 1st hit and 366 on 2nd hit, variance of 71% which is v high considering the 50+15 spec of the war.

Also i got 64% style dmg for 1st hit and 47% style dmg for second hit using same style which is not normal, should have been the same style dmg.

I asked the bersker, he said he s full sc and armours repaired.

What could be the cause ?

hi,

let me try to explain it with an example ... if you detaunt you get a def bonus for time between the detaunt and the next swing, and its probably the same with ragnarok,

ragna = med. dmg bonus + med. attack bonus

first hit (with 213) would enable the bonus for the next hit 366)

thats how i would explain it

It's both the same you got 39% Styldamage on 1st and 2nd hit.

The first hit has a base dmg of 213 but the second got 266 - I think you miscalculated. A difference but not that great.

Attack bonus doesn't increase damage, it increases the chance to penetrate defenses. Where'd you ever get this idea ?

1st ragnarok hit
285+66 = 351 dmg with style included
351-138 style dmg = 213 base dmg

If 213 dmg is base dmg and 138 is style dmg added from this base dmg = 64% style dmg

2nd ragnarok hit
356+83=439 dmg with style included
439-173 style dmg= 266 base dmg (yup my bad here )
65% style dmg

Thnx Razzer, i gues i was bit tired when i did it on paper, still funny how i ve hit a max and a min..

@Toblerone
I hope u ll help me with what i asked you, i m curious about the result also, on mid with warior was oke the dmg.

64/65% with ratio styledmg/base
39% with ratio styledmg/totaldmg
But it's the same (with rounding errors)

So you see how much styledamage you do?
total = 100%
styledamag = 39%
Very easy ;)

With all do respect Razzer..who teached u how to calculate style dmg?

Example : You perform your Doublefrost perfectly! (+58)
You hit the test mob for 158 damage!

100 is base dmg , and u got 58% style dmg,or 0.58 how u prefer.
How can u calculate style dmg from base dmg+style dmg? What do you understand from there?

This is the formula for style dmg
Style dmg = ((Growth Rate * Weapon Spec) * Effective Speed) / Unstyled Damage Cap
Where:
Effective Speed = SPD * ( 1 – ( Quickness – 60 ) / 500) ) * ( 1 – Haste%)
Weapon spec is the composite spec, growth rate of the style u r using that is a fix % , and unstyled dmg cap that u can find out hiting a lvl 1 mob.
All those factors affect style dmg ... what r u calculating there is nothing.
