Hi.

I know scouts have it rough in rvr compared to their hunters and ranger counterparts. Regardless, I am looking for a solo-scout spec for picking people off at milegates, DF, etc. Does anyone have a good scout spec that they might be willing to share?

i like this one:
bow 50 (at till 48 )
shield 42
slash 29
stealth rest (29 i think)

slash is for the amethyst style.

The only alternative would be:
bow 50
shield 42
stealth 35 (total 50 at rr5)
rest thrust

the second one is probably the most common scout template around. You dont need more stealth, and neither shield, so the only thing you could modify in it is to drop bow to get more thrust, but i am not sure thats worth it ;)

you can have definitely good chances at high rank, depending on enemy. arrow + slam + arrow again, with mob and falcon eye should be a nice char to play

From what i have read, going past 50 composite bow doesn't really increase dmg. However at 45 spec you get rapid fire II and Volley III.
The spec i am looking at for my scout is
45 Bow
42 Shield
36 Stealth
29 Weapon (probably thrust not sure Amy is worth the lower dmg stat and vulnerability to poison debuff)

This is with Auto training to at least lvl 44.

make
42 shield
50 bow
35 stealth(with rr5/with rr4 36)
rest waepon
it dont makes sense to skill waepon for stealth
cause scout makes ~same dmg with 18 or 28 in waepon not a big difference

Autotrain bow up to 48, then respec to 50 bow and try to leech as much RP due zerg as you can until RR5.

Then respec to:

35 bow
35 stealth
42 shield
40 thrust or slash

just go 50bow/42 shield and abuse slam&volley combo :D

(until volley gets fixed, then reroll as scout will suck again)
I two-shot Zerkers

Break the annoying cookie Cutters, be a Melee Scout!

RR7 +
44 - Slash
35 - Bow
32 - Stealth
42 - Shield

Pre-RR7
41 - Slash
35 - Bow
36 - Stealth
42 - Shield

Put a poison proc on that weapon and kick some butt!
