the main reason many dont like adding/zerging is that they do not find it fun, and its a game - therefore should be played for fun.

by adding/zerging it takes all the challenge away from the game and therefore the fun for many people.

people just have different playstyles, unfortunately ppl who like zerging/adding don't respec the playstyle of ppl who dont add and just run 8v8.. whereas the guys running 8v8 do respec the others playstyle by default

if all 8v8 moved to another zone and let the zerging/adding stay in emain it would solve the problem.

This is a PvP game, there are no rules about adding/zerging. If you think it's not fun then maybe the game is not for you. The game is meant to be realm vs realm, there are no special game mechanisms or special zones for groups or solo players.

I play a RM and I can't count how many times I've been stunned/doted/snared/whatever and killed by a stealther without having any chance to do any thing. Is it fair, is it fun for me? Next time I see 2 stealthers fighting, shall I add?

All those discussion about add/dont add/zerG/ siege gameplay are annoying and sometimes missing the point of reality. Just keep playstyle adaptive, read the situation.

Whats the use to let a lowbie die to one or even two high RR? Wheres the challenge for them? Give em some challenge by adding your high RR toon.

And stealthers dont deserve fair and even challenge...

Yes of course. I play to have fun killing other people, NOT so other people have fun killing me. It's not like stealthers care if it's fun for me to die without beeing able to do anything. So I will add on stealther fights ANYTIME.

all the server needs is OF RAs

fixes almost all class/realm imbalances...

well, if you bothered reading the thread about OF RAs you'd see there is several problems with them.

nowhere to test them / long time to implement / nearsight even stronger / different determination distribution / ...

How about we stop introducing new content that needs heaps of work to be written and perfected and start perfecting the content we have, hm? But by all means, continue your crusade.

yes, making all casters have ns for 2mins whilst only having 30mins purge makes them stronger! :roll:

beat the other group to NS, just like beating them to mezz.....

lets not make skill matter....

you get NSd, dont have purge up.....move forward, then cast...or spread heal...

but no, mercs, bms, and zerkers only....thats a "balanced" server

yea I assumed the poster above didnt know that...

he has to be at that kind of intelligence level thinking NS makes casters OPd when you have 3 unstoppable charge tanks on me while i try to cast it...no issues there though

No I was sarcastic you see, you're clueless. NS doesn't make casters OP, it makes them OBSOLETE. How can a caster forced to stand at melee range with uthgard's customly slowed casting speed possibly be overpowered ?

Comparing it to mezz, just another clueless remark. NS duration isn't lowered by realm abilities, nor can it be cured (on uthgard).

nearsight effects 2 or 3 people in an 8 man...how many of those people have purge down???? with NF RAs, pry none of them.....NS is good for 1 interrupt, and the 5 seconds it takes to purge it...

stare and disease are the only spells that matter here..
