An ex Purga guild is reforming on Hibernia (because we love a challenge). Our guild will dominate Uthgard (Yup, we said it). Now we’re looking for one (1) last member in our GG set group. IF you can play either of these classes you’re welcome to apply: peeler BM, or secondary Regrowth Bard. You will be tested on an I50 server to see that you possess the skills required for this position.

True that hib has the weakest classes/setups on uthgard's setting, but it also lacks decent players which makes things seem worse. There hasn't been a good rvr guild in hibernia on uthgard like... ever.

So its kind of random that a hib guild is on place 1? http://herald.uthgard-server.net/herald ... ew=ranking

(exclude Clan Cotswold which is there due to a bug)

Years of RP farming between a few guilds while uthgard wasn't even remotely popular and it had up to 100 players online during primetime and never more than 2 groups farming each other in emain and early agramon. They were mostly noobs fighting noobs, none of those people played real daoc end result high RRs and lots of RPs under their guild's name.

Mb was dropped out of competition ever since uthgard got more skilled players and rvr suddenly had more than just 2 groups farming each other after setting up fights on irc ^^.

So you see, pointing out ancient history to say something about the present state of things isn't too accurate.

I hope your "pwn" guild plays on Euro time. If you are here to destroy the enemy during USA time zones you'll be /who 50 = 3 people.

Server attracts very few players if at all and is really nothing more than a far more laid back version of real DAoC with a small European population that results in massive miscommunication.

Of the three realms - Hib is at the bottom of this horribly mediocre environment that brings nothing of the original excitement and feel that massive epical conflicts between three realms brought each other back in the day.

The mods here have recreated a small clone of the real mmorpg and have limited its options for fun according to their own needs. However, I do not disagree with their own private version of DAoC since it is their hard work that makes it work in the form that it is.

On the contrary the live or rather "real" DAoC is a horrible post WoW community of power level me please, farm bots at Dragon and Epic dungeons, along with massive rp farming in Labyrinth. Stealth hacks galore and just high rr 8 mans bottom feeding off the few new players that come in make up the consistency of the game.
---------------------

In that regard - you've probably come to the lesser of two evils to dominate the few players that play that speak the English language.

----

I wish you all luck however.

I just did /who 50 as GM at 03:00 (german night/GMT+1): 57 level 50 players. Dont spread lies in the forums.

Don't forget most level 50 players are anonymous and you can't see them in /who.

Yes especially when 40 of them were in OF RvRing. I'm not sure how you passively RvR in OF.

In OF maybe. Rvring ? Probably not. I barely even see 1 hib group in emain during primetime. You can't pick out numbers from online list and guess what everyone is doing. And calling keep raids rvr is meh, they're hitting guards and doors, not players. Look at lwrp, more than half of hibs in the top 50 list are stealthers ^^
