I continually keep getting lag, on my ping meter the middle will turn to the red square for about 5-10 seconds a time, and it happens about every 30-60 seconds. Sometimes the first one will turn red for longer, and I think I will be LD but it will just update everything in the game really fast.
No one else around me seems to have this problem and I have opened the ports required. I updated my video driver, chipset, and bios. I cant figure it out, my router maybe? Idk, Its just very bothersome to me. I have cable and I live on the east coast in ohio. I shouldnt have this problem..

does this happen all the time or just specific hours of the day?

also could you please do the following:

start --> run --> cmd --> tracert 88.198.56.21

and copy that content into here?

Obviously seems to be "hos-bb1.juniper1.rz6.hetzner.de" so i googled it, and someone else is having the exact same problem as me, just earlier this month.

and afraid there is nothing to do expect getting a proxy server

so what is it? can i block the IP or is it required? Why is it lagging me only?

lags all who is directed through it - nothing you can do im afraid besides getting a proxy that directs you away from those servers

how do you stand rvr, jalore?

the lag can be mild to moderate to flat out going link-dead. my duo partner is in same state i'm in and he has similar issues. most of the time it can be bearable with tricks to help with lag such as sprinting now and then when running normal speed when auto following. or if that don't work you can drive yourself when following your group leader, keeps you from having auto follow lag.

though tricks help with my general lag problems but i have lagged at inopportune times leading to my death and death of my group that i don't like but such heavy lag is rare maybe once a session. just mostly persistent minor lag where the L meter turns yellow or red for a bit causing some hesitation but is bearable. if the P and L get red i go link-dead so does my duo partner.

Your ISP is about the second or third hop '34 ms 8 ms 8 ms cpe-65-31-39-1.woh.res.rr.com' so its not really their problem. However if its a good ISP, they may be able to do something but I'm not sure.

They could, but they won´t. I've sent a mail to those Telia/hertzner carrier providers. Both supports asked for the same traces with more than 1000 packets, so they are adressing it for me. Do the same, they seems to have a great support.
I'm getting the same kind of lag on thursday/friday/sunday evenings.

Do you have the email address of them? Do you have anything I can tell them to cut down on my description times to them? I had hard enough time trying to get through my isp that in the end couldnt do anything and told me to talk to the game provider.

if this problem still exist, please send us traceroutes over at least 1000 packets in both directions (client -> server ; server -> client).

You can use a program such as MTR. It combines the functionality of the 'traceroute' and 'ping' programs in a single network diagnostic tool. As MTR starts, it investigates the network connection between the server MTR runs on and a user-specified destination server. This will help us to define precisely the problem.

For windows please use WinMTR. You can download this freeware at http://winmtr.sourceforge.net

Next time, please send us a request from the Hetzner-Robot and select "Server problems/technical support". Then we will receive your email directly to the datacenter and you must not wait 2 days for an answer.
