hey,

could you explain why would you choose a certain type of reactive armor proc rather than another one in rvr situation and as a stealther?

thanks

The fact it is common doesn't explain why they prefer these to other types.
With reactive dot, I see 2 cons: don't stack, break potential CC which could save your ass.
With ablative, I could say the best defense is the attack.
So any reasons you could share which made you think what reactive proc would be the most adapted?

ablatives: few reason..

you already have dot procs on your weapons so why have wasted utility on your armor

having offensive procs on armor equals 0 kiting probabilities meaning you can't kite if the situation is good for kiting..

and having an extra defence ability is never bad ..

its not so much what ablative gives - its more what the others give.. which is 0 kiting abilities

Until they added new procs on blue servers I'd say 99% of procs on all armour on every class were ablatives. As an alch I don't think I ever made anything but ablatives when I made peoples armour until omnis and snares were added.
