After my first day of Uthgard, I can honestly say that I am in love. This server has brought me back to my glory days, and oh how nostaligic it truely is.

2 Questions:

(1) I installed the classic patch, and did everything to make sure it patched, etc etc. Yet, when I log in, I still get the message in yellow text telling me to install the classic patch. What gives?

(2) I did the same for the old icons download, and still, no old icons.

How do I fix these two issues?

For old icon, you should just google-search for daocs old icons and copy/paste it into the ui-icon folder.

For the patch, well, make sure youve got the patchfile copied into the mods directory inside daocportal, you opened daocportal as administrator, let it patch itself and the icon in the modmanager apears black instead of red.

did you remember to click the boxes and after that clicked patch?

yes i did. very odd

It still tells me I don't have the classic patch when I log in either, but I still play in the frontiers just fine.

Then its just the notes which appear everytime you logg in.

remember this, will be the last as you not play midgard ;D

be careful not to make anybody uncomfortable on uthgard. the admins dont like that

Make sure you didnt update anything after you patched the classic patch.

This is not true in my case. If you don't do things against the rules you are at your will what to do.
