Will RvR dungeon be implementet?

Heya,.. wanted to ask about Dodens/Marfach/Halls of the Corrupt (PoC?),.. since its a content of OF
since it could fix the problem Jojoner mentioned:

i talked to some alb stealther that are totally fed up getting zerged at amg, getting no or very rare action at hagrians/odins

its not only about getting a second (or third) "hotspot",..

its about albs (and hibs+mids but especially albs) willing to solo, that quit playing their toons because of usually spending 5-10times rps before reaching a zone where a possible 1vs1 could happen,..

its not about a "stealther feature" only,...not about 1vs1 only
same goes for smallmen and solo players that cant stealth,...

GM's and players told other players its their job to get action in those other zones, argumenting : on live it worked

con: on live there were 3,5k players ,.. imagine uthgards pupulation trippled ,.. action in odins/hagrians would be guaranteed since emain would be totally overpopulated
people would head there automatically
pro PoC: on live there was PoC too , on live it didnt help to get action in other zone since it wasnt need ,.. but i suggest it would help on uthgard

sure its about a tiny population of utghard, but also a livelike implementation and maybe a way to increase attractiveness of the different playstyles daoc contains

opinions, suggestions?

I think the problem is having the data that provides mob and item details for the zone.

Start a custom one. Worked on Tajendi too, so why not a selfmade custom rvr dungeon?

yeah , why not ,.. better than not have it at all ;P

one thing i can remember but that was really bad for solos ,...

tried xping there with my 44zerker ;P ^^ after the first mob i had sickness on me lasting 60minutes ^^

edit: 40min sick

seems there are information on allakhazam

So many things I can reply back with but not worth it. Lets wait for a staff member to chime in on an official statement.

On a side note yes I would love to see this go live, maybe they're working on it... maybe not.

Not sick, you were diseased ... for up to 2 hours. :)

Because there's no need for it. I prefer classic or SI content above any other on a classic server.

There was a passage between realm zone maps (pre ToA) in OF it really wasn't a dungeon just a passage eg. enter from mid zone, zone in, go left and you go to alb zone go right go to hib zone.
The entrances are there with a "DO NOT ENTER".
I really can't remember if Alb was left or right lol but thats all I ever seen in the (unused on Uthgard) 3 tunnels.
Its been a long time since I played OF on Live maybe I missed something in there.

There had been some bossmobs aswell inside it. Some with quite some good drops. :)

Summoner's hall was in passage of conflict in NF not OF.
I remember PoC very well, was the way we took relics most of the time. PoC would be nice but staff seems to want to take server back to olden days before NF.
NF seems to allow more play styles to be effective, with more choke points and far more things to do.

summoners hall was most certainly in old frontiers. i played mid then we got to it though dodens grava. refer back to my post at the cloak link you will see that the date on all the forum posts were dated 2002-2003.

heh, are there any 4.3spd 1 hand slashers currently on Uthgard?

That guy has some interesting loot. The only slash spear drop I've ever seen, and a bracer that gives a bonus to stealth... and parry. :?
