Hi all. I have the 1.95 DR client, yesterday I reached lvl 25 with my Theurgist named Voomi and then I /quitted in Camelot. Now I can't log him, since when I have to choose characters and I press Play the game freezes. It would be nice if the GMs/ADMINs could help me through this, since I also had a lvl 51 armor set and some other stuff in the vault (lol), so it's not just "exping again from 1-25 deal".

I've patched/checked the game, but it still freezes. I've tried to log in the game with my friend's laptop but it happens the same.

My account is vomi888 and you can find me in Uthgard with my second character Vomii.

Edit: The Developer Baldrug helped me to fix this problem. This was caused by the service "WTouch Service" that runs when you install drivers for the Wacom Tablet Pc. The .exe related is WTouchService, and for disable it just run MsConfig and uncheck WTouch Service from the services list.

Well I did some tests with a friend's account and it seems that I can't log any character over the 25th level. So it should be a client problem, and not a character's one.

I re-downloaded the game and patched but it still freezes :S

I even downloaded the game on a working PC and copied the folder on my laptop but hell, it still freezes. I deleted everything related to daoc (/my documents/ea folder - appdate/ea folder and every stuff in the registry related to daoc) and of course unistalled the previous games. How can't it work? And why with only lvl 25 characters?

Where are the characters located ingame ?

They are located in different places, even realms. Since I have just a character over lvl 25 I asked a friend to let me try with his characters and well it freezes for every character I tried (Almost 10).

Afternoon All,

I have been experiencing a similar problem. I downloaded the game and patched.

I loaded into the game, created a character, got to Lvl 3, then got disconnected. When I tried to log in again I got to the character selection screen, selected the character, clicked play.

The screen went black and came up with the Midgard screenshot with the progress bar at the bottom. The progress bar got to 100% the music stopped and then nothing.

Did anyone fine a solution to this?

I only get that when I go LD in character screen, or at least that's my guess.
Doesn't really happen often to me.
